Newegg eBay Store -> Newegg Invoice -> Newegg.com Rebates

Gambit. 202 156 January 20, 2014 at 06:40 PM
Hey, I was wondering if anyone has purchased anything from Newegg's eBay Store. Is it possible to get a Newegg invoice from the purchase and then use it to complete a mail-in rebate for the item on Newegg.com?

So basically:
1) Buy item on Newegg's eBay Store
2) Get a Newegg invoice
3) Get and submit rebate form from Newegg.com for the item you purchased on Newegg's eBay store

Has anyone tried this?

I don't know if it would work for Newegg sponsored rebates through newegg.rebateaccess.com, but for other companies, it should work fine- based on buying stuff from 'buy' on ebay and getting a buy/rakuten invoice and getting the rebates approved.

The shipping notice ("Newegg.com - eBay Tracking") has your Newegg order number, which you can use to look up a basic invoice here [newegg.com]. It will look like the normal invoice details page but it will not have your name and address on it. No idea if it will work for rebates.
