How to contact Total Defense @ 4MyRebate.com (Phone number / email address, etc)?

netsonic 271 13 March 3, 2014 at 07:50 PM
I have a $60 TOTALDEFENSE rebate and I use quick process ($6 processing fee)

On Jan/8, I got an email from TOTALDEFENSE@help.4myreward.com, saying my rebate was processed

At 4myreward.com it shows the rebate was sent out on Jan 11, but I never received the prepaid card.

I sent email to TOTALDEFENSE@help.4myreward.com, but never got reply.

Please help me with this issue.

There is no different between Quick process and regular process so you just waste $6. As for 4myrebate, the phone number is 1-800-286-9146. Don't remember about Amex but usually for Visa Prepaid card you need to contact Visa prepaid for reissuing the card. Anyway, contact 4myrebate first, they should be able to give you the proper instructions.

I learned this too. I paid the fees on my first rebates (when I was a rebate n00b) but quickly realized it was pointless. Regular process is (usually) fast enough.

So you mean after I contact 4myrebate, the CSR will tell me how to contact Visa Prepaid to ask them reissue a new card to me?

You should contact 4myrebate first. Since it is American express card, you probably need to contact American express prepaid for reissuing.

There probably isn't much use in calling 4MyRebate for lost cards. They'll tell you to contact AMEX and give you outdated information.

Call AMEX at 1-800-297-7327. Press 0 until you get to talk to someone. Tell them you have a rebate card that got lost in the mail and you need it reissued. They can look it up using your personal information. Check you rebate submission and be sure to give them the same info.

I made the mistake of sending in too much documentation and somehow they couldn't find the invoice. So I resubmit as they requested.

Now it shows as being denied for mailing outside the postmark date as the original reason (before it said missing documentation). In the documentation it says it is missing the UPC.

Looks like it is going to be a bit of a fight. I am so glad I decided to pay for the letter tracking.

Im in the same boat and my card shows the same date of mailing, Jan 11, but still haven't received anything. I came to SD looking for contact information because I too, sent several emails to TOTALDEFENSE@help.... and never heard back.

Any luck with getting your rebate?

Do you think it's better to say that I never received the card instead of saying it was lost? Some people are turned off by certain words and maybe they will think I am are trying to play the system since I am jumping to conclusions?

It's not like they have a replacement fee if you lose the card. I don't think it really matters but be less direct if you'd like. Personally, I'd probably say "I'm calling to request a replacement for a rebate card that seems to have gotten lost in the mail."

Got them to issue me a new card and it will be sent to my new address (I moved after applying for the rebate) Guy on the phone asked for my name and address only and managed to locate the card. Hope anyone having trouble manages to find this thread.

Repped
