Google Drive has lowered prices on cloud storage. Thanks sjsfan
Includes
  • 15GB for free
  • 100GB for $1.99/month
  • 1TB for $9.99/month
Deal Editor's Note: Because every cloud storage is different, a direct product comparison is not possible. However, our research shows that compared to similar providers, Google Drive's storage plan for the 100 GB is $7.99/month less (80% savings) than Dropbox, and $2.17/month less (52% savings) than Microsoft OneDrive. -TofuVic

Featured User Comment: User sKwiD tells that it has a 10GB cap per video file and 25GB cap for other file types.

Having launched Google Drive just two years ago, we're excited that so many people are now using it as their go-to place for keeping all their files. Whether it's all the footage of your kids' baseball games, the novel you're working on, or even just your grocery list for the week, we all have files that are too important to lose. Today, thanks to a number of recent infrastructure improvements, we're able to make it more affordable for you to keep everything safe and easy to reach on any device, from anywhere.

We've lowered the price of our monthly storage plans to $1.99 for 100GB (previously $4.99), $9.99 for 1TB (previously $49.99), and $99.99 for 10TB, with even more storage available if you need it. How big is a terabyte anyway? Well, that's enough storage for you to take a selfie twice a day for the next 200 years and still have room left over for… shall we say… less important things. Like before, storage continues to work across Drive, Gmail and Google+ Photos. And, of course, the 15GB plan remains free.

Do you know if there's a file size limit? Say if I wanted to upload a 10gb file or something?

EDIT: Looks like it's 10GB for Video and 25GB for everything else

Thanks for posting the update. I checked tech news this morning and the two things that jumped out to me were this price decrease for Google Drive, and the price increase for Amazon Prime.

It probably will. If you have auto-renew, then no changes. But I would recommend changing plan to $9.99 for 1TB - you get more space and save money.

Usually things that don't make much money won't last.
Unless Google or whoever start mining information from the data you store and try to send you target ads using that information. Smilie

Considering that 100 gb but Google drive needs to be compatible with more devices, but I guess if your devices has an internet browser then you can view the contents on your Google drive.

Plus I hate recurring payments. Id rather pay a higher one time charge and know I have storage for life
