Can Best Buy Rewards certificates be used on Amazon/kindle Gift cards in store?

I believe that you can use Best Buy gift cards to buy Amazon Kindle gift cards in store...

But can you use Best Buy Rewards certificates to do the same? I've got $100+ in points I'd like to cash out, but I don't want to spend it on Best Buy merchandise.

Thanks for the replies guys. I actually went to Best Buy on Monday and redeemed $100 in Best Buy certificates for $100 in Amazon Kindle cards. Didn't have any problems whatsoever. The clerk scanned my Rewards number, then the rewards barcode, and everything went as it should.

Has BestBuy stopped selling Amazon kindle cards? I could not find them at my local BB store, nor can I find them listed on their online site.

I had this issue last time, had to ask a blue shirt, they were in a small stack on one of the Kindle display tables.

Was this recently? I was told by the employees they hadn't seen the Kindle cards since late August.

Oh no, this was before August (in Feb/March, I believe), hopefully someone else who has looked more recently can let you know. I have to go there tomorrow anyways, will try and remember to check for you.

Looks like they're being phased out nationwide. Thanks for checking though.

I just tried to buy one yesterday, but the guy said they stopped carrying them a few months ago.

Does anybody have any suggestions on what to use $20 Reward Zone money for? Everything I looked at that I might consider buying was at least $20 cheaper on amazon (including their "sale" of the printer I'm interested in).

BB will price match Amazon, so long as the product is sold by Amazon and not a third party.

Otherwise, buy yourself a gift card to a restaurant chain or another store that you frequent.
