Just ordered mine. Great deal considering it's for 2 years and $10 more than the regular price of a 1 year membership.

Seems decent. $35/yr is generally around the bottom price portion where these end up.

Thanks OP

Never. All of the money that Microsoft puts in to run those Xbox LIVE services and now with things like Xbox Live Compute which powers both Xbox and PC games, theres no way they would ever make it free.

Not live itself, but you they will be taking away the gold requirement to watch Netflix, etc.

Good deal, is this 2 codes/cards so I can use a year and give one to my nephew?

Maybe, but it makes no difference. People don't pay for gold to watch Netflix.

I'm sure some people do, although getting a Roku Streaming Stick is cheaper than one year of Live Gold.

I did and since I disliked Paying for the membership to use my netflix I gave the xbox away and bought a ps3. Xbox loses as a casual - never gamer.
