At least it didn't hit me while on my trip. I half expected to have issues then since I went to MI where I am allergic to trees and grass and stuff that I love. But nope.. I get back to the dry hot-ass desert and bam... asthma issues and sinus infection, body aches, fatigue etc... wonderful.

So, gallbladder surgery was supposed to be laparoscopic, but they decided to slice me open instead. Not a big incision (3 or so inches), but its dragging out my recovery time. If I try to do much of anything, the area around the cut swells up. Dr. said it's normal, but I'm ready to have my life back. Mad

When DW had hers out, the surgeon explained to us that they try to do it laparoscopiclly, but said sometimes they can't depending on your situation.

Even with just laparoscopic surgery, it took DW 7-10 days or so for the incision sites to feel better, and 3-4 weeks to feel completely normal.

Hopefully it heals soon.

Thanks! Tomorrow will be three weeks and I have a follow up visit with my surgeon. It's getting better, but I'm still having to take it kind of easy. I got a muscle cramp around the incision today Bigeye I thought I was going to pass out. Faint
