There are much better quality earbuds in this price range such as Klipsch S4's, UE500vm's, and Sennheiser CX 300 II's. I bought these last time they were on sale for $35 and felt they were worth more like $15. Luckily, I was able to get most of my money back when I resold them.

I'm either a sucker or a genius. How do these compare to the soundmagic e10 i was looking at earlier?

Thanks for posting!! I've been researching sub-$100 IEMs for a couple weeks and these had come up more than a couple times. They probably weren't my front-runners, in part because of potential iOS only compatibility for the in-line controls, but for $30 I'm more than willing to give these a shot and keep around as a pair good for heavy base.

What state are you in? I'm in Indiana and there was no tax. Amazon has taxes in IN so I'm assuming all retailers would be the same now. I checked out with amazon.
