solid deal on a gas pressure washer.

i have $30 in SYWR points so this would be only $234 and then another $23 cash back from Shop Discover

a part of me wants to sell the craftsman electric pressure washer that i bought several months ago and get this gas one instead

I loaded a coupon from my SYW account (15% back in points on your next purchase in power Lawn & Garden) and the total points for next order is $55.65.

"delivers max PSI of cleaning pressure at 2.3 GPM"

And that's a max of?
Edit: 2800 psi

The real question is whether it has a plastic distribution (or diverter) valve or a brass one. The plastic ones don't last near as long and aren't serviceable, whereas the brass ones are. And of course none of the specs tell you that so you'd have to physically see it.

That looks like the same one they sell at Costco. Lots of poor reviews.

Unfortunately Craftsman isn't the quality name that it used to be. I wouldn't be surprised to find the plastic parts.

Here's a similar Generac with slightly larger (CC) engine, about 30 bucks more with Prime. 196cc vs. 160cc. About the same PSI delivered. I have a house Generac and it does well for me. So anyone with experience with this Craftsman?

Wow, those are some poor reviews. I bought a Black Max power washer at Sam's and it works great so far.

Whatever model you get, you need to run the gas tank empty so the old gas doesn't gum up the engine. After 3 years, the Honda engine still starts on the first pull.

Thanks. Any big reason why?

I meant slightly better that the other Generac one on Amazon, simply because 2800psi vs. 2700, 2.5gpm vs 2.3, and is lighter at 61.5lb vs 69

I have no experience with power washers, but if someone was going to buy one from Amazon might as well get the better specs for 14 cents less.
