So like everyone who likes Indian food has been talking about this, because it makes the super healthy Indian whole wheat roti breads in 1 minute. The product has been tested in Singapore and is being launched in the US.

The retail cost is $999, which is what they marketed to everyone. You can pre-order it now, limited time, first come first serve, for $599 (plus shipping)

The pre-order deposit is 10%, and is fully refundable, if you change your mind before the estimated shipping date of Mar 2015.

Some of my family is in for it - so I think with demand, pricing is likely to increase!

Note: I was born in India, and fluent in several Indian languages. I am not affiliated with this company what so ever, in any way - nor do I profit even 1 penny by purchases made by anyone on here, or elsewhere. I have been shopping via SD for about 2 years - i never needed an account, because i never posted anything. most tech and electronics deals are usually covered on here any way.

damn. $599!! you must really have to love indian bread. honestly, it might be cheaper to go to whole foods and buy fresh bread everyday or hire a indian shop to make you a small batch each day/week.

I am an Indian, but this price is ridiculous!

And who really are you kidding that the price will go up with demand... It's already a gouging price

If you pre-order 10 it will drop price to $499/each. Don't forget $50 s/h and tax

$599 is quite ridiculous. When I first saw the promo for this, I was assuming it'd be in the $200-300 range. Most Indians like me will probably be waiting a few years for the price to come way down or possibly even wait for a competitor to drive prices lower

so I can usually buy them at the restaurant for $3.95. I did the math and the cost is enough for me to order 1 prepared at the restaurant 1x every week for like 2.91 years

Is roti the equivalent of rice in East Asian cuisine?

Or better yet, wait for something like to get released in India and bargain the hell out of it. Cool
