Does the NFL do something to make sharing a sub hard to do?
It's probably 10x easier to just share a sub with someone who has a physical dish. They watch on the dish and you stream. The downside is that you will have games that are local to them get blacked out for you, so if you have a team that gets shown a lot out of market there, you are SOL. Since I am a Bills fan and nobody watches them without money on the line or a gun to their head, it's not really a problem for me when I share with my uncle.

I do also find it funny that its a thread about Madden and no one is actually interested in Madden lmao. To be honest I generally like the Madden series but they have released next to nothing about how its supposedly changing. By this time most years I'd be getting NCAA football but that series is dead now. I grabbed NCAA14 on sale over the XMas sale so I will probably just download updated rosters and play that for the year. Maybe I will even find a league lol
yea, we looked into that last year and I was trying to sell off the time slots that I wouldn't be using (to people like GF).
You probably could set up something and sell off time slots for like $10 a piece. Personally, I'd pay $10 if I knew I was going to get to watch the game and have it look really nice / HD (instead of my currently free option.
If your team is halfway decent though, you are really only paying for ~10 games...when you think about that vs. the $200+ cost it gets kind nuts. I say 10 because chances are they play 3-4 primetime games and 2-3 games that actually fall in your market.
FYI, the streaming games last year were FAR from HD. We watched the Saints play on PC with HDMI out to our 42" LCD and it was not pretty, but it was free with the Madden promo. Not sure I would pay $200 for it this year. Probably will just use Redzone on my Verizon phone ($5/mo) and then buy the NFL Game Rewind for single team replays ($30.00). Not live and replays are delayed but it's better than dealing with DirecTV contracts IMHO
