Upon purchase, you're are automatically enrolled in 30 day trial of FreedomPop Premier ($24.99 authorization charge will drop off in a bit). You can disable that by going to My Account (your password should be in your email) -> Services -> Premier service and go all the way to the bottom right corner to deactivate it. Carefully read & click subsequent confirmations to avoid retaining data (extra cost). Then, go to My Account > Billing > Billing Settings > Auto Top-up > Edit > Off to disable auto top up.

Also, Turn off "3rd party email contacts" under My Account->Update Account Settings and then scroll down to the bottom where it has e-mail preferences.

Under My Plan Premium 2GB (4G/3G) click on "Details and Plan Management"(small text)
Then click on "To downgrade your plan, click here"

To be honest, this may not be in your best interest. We only accept returns for the first 30 days after purchase and we do not provide return shipping. If you still want to try to return your current device and possibly pay more to get this, then go ahead and message us.

Is this 4G LTE? 4G WiMAX? How about 3G?
This promotion is for a Free 4G WiMAX + 3G capable USB Modem only. It is not compatible with LTE. To check on coverage, visit www.freedompop.com/coverage3g4g. Be sure to only select the 4G WiMAX and 3G boxes.


Isn’t WiMAX getting shutdown?
Sprint has announced that WiMax will be phased out at the end of 2015. But even after WiMax does shutdown, 3G will still continue to work on the device. So in short: for the next 17 months (Now -- December 2015), the USB Modem will be able to connect to 4G WiMax + 3G. After that, just 3G.


When will devices be shipped?
These devices are in stock and ready to be shipped. But just a heads up -- if this deal becomes popular, then it will affect shipping times. Our shipping team works as fast as they can to get all orders processed. Our last Free device deal was super popular and went to the Front Page. As a result, there were shipping delays, but we were able to process and ship all orders within a few weeks.


Is this device new?

You're welcome to downgrade to our Free 500MB 4G Only data plan at any time (even 5 minutes after you place the order). Downgrading can be performed in the specific tabs under "My Account".
