No reviews. Anyone here with first hand knowledge of this product who is not a shill?
You don't need any review, here is the advice from the expert:
"
700 TVL cameras paired with a 960H DVR will allow you to identify someone up to 10 feet from the camera. HD cameras will allow you to identify someone at 50 feet or further (depending on the model).

The bottom line is that if you are looking at cameras that are still measured in TV Lines, you are looking at legacy equipment that will soon be phased out.
"
That's the reason why these systems are so cheap Wink

General question: For surveillance, are wired cameras more secure than wireless ones?
They both have there +/-'s.. Like a lot of things it's pretty subjective.
Wired cameras are vulnerable to having their wires snipped - wireless cameras, of course, don't have this problem. (Though they both have power cables)

Wireless cameras are vulnerable to RF interference/intentional jamming, etc - a problem wired cameras don't really have much of.

This is another reason I like IP camera systems - redundancy. I like to set up my systems wired, with wireless setup to automatically take over in the case an Ethernet cable is cut.

This system is great! Control software is fast and easy to set up. It even supports turret type cameras. All I had to do is put in a hard drive. It came with a mouse and all the other cables for the cameras. It even has HDMI output and the resolution is great. The night vision is in color somehow, all the other systems I've gotten we're black and white night vision.

I would recommend this system for anyone. They are worth every penny and more.
Saw your review on amazon. Could you please post a video clip in the dark if possible.

Thanks.

how to do set it up so the wireless can automatically take over? i'm running some foscams, but needed a way to setup a DVR. do you use blueiris or something like that for the wireless one? if you can PM me to teach me how that would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Funny. I just got the zmodo nvr system. Outside of this being bnc, the cameras and base unit all look very similar. . Hell, there was even a mini mouse in the package. .

Would not surprise me if this was all the same manufacturer.

Rave reviews plus the fact someone from SD conveniently posted an Amazon review 3 days ago = Suspicious

Color night-vision.......

Me thinks lots of self promotion here from multiple people.

Very suspicious. Sounds like a bit of effort was put into this one.

cheap system for sure. if you don't care much about good resolution it is probably fine. but 960H is not very good for facial id unless very close. and forget about license plates if you need that much detail.

Whoever put up those reviews at least went to the effort of buying the cameras. They still look really fake though. 5 reviews, all 5*, all fluff reviews within the last month.

Cheap price though, I suspect you'll get what you pay for. If you don't need much, or perhaps want something for the garage or a backup system, seems ok. I'll pass.

Thanks very much for the detailed explanation. Could you be so kind as to provide some details or pointers about the redundancy that you talk about and how to set it up?

I am the OP. It's just a cheap set of cameras that I found to be rather cheap for what you are getting. I do not work for, or represent, anyone or any company.
