SiriusXM sells your info to the scammers who call about extended warranties on your car.
I received those calls, but I just renewed anyways with the 6 month deal for $24.99. It seems NJ taxes and fees are higher so I ended up paying a total of $32.22.

I just called to cancel again like I always do a day before it bills and they offered and I took the deal. 6 months for total cost of $27.95. Didn't even take 5 mins.

Thanks OP! I just renewed 6 months on the chat for $28.11 in CA after my 1 year included car trial just expired yesterday.

Beware though they charge a $2 invoicing fee every single month if you do not have a credit card on file with them!

Agreed. I always make them send me a paper billing statement and pay by check. It's a couple of bucks more, but worth it to keep their hands off my cc info. I also give them an old phone number.

I'm about 2 weeks out until my subscription expires, should I re-new now? Or wait until the day before it expires...

I canceled after they fired Anthony Cumia. Screw those assholes.

They take away the 1 piece of original content they have, that I listened to, and expect me to continue paying for music I can get for free many other places.

Over it.

Do it the day before, I've done it this way for years @ $25/5 months, my last call got me $20/5 months. The phone call is usually complete within 10 minutes, and i get the $2 invoice fee too, since they will never get a CC # from me again.

Sirius Select with Howard...

I always give them a good cc # for the $25 charge and then go to my account and change it to a prepaid Amex card that has ~ $25 on it. Every time they email me when my sub runs out and tell me there's a problem with my cc. Do it all over again.

Just did my every 5 month renewal at the $19.99 plus taxes rate....it takes me 6 minutes on the call at 8886016302.

Just start out the conversation, that you want to either cancel or renew at that 5 month rate....keep saying no to offers until they get to the one you want.
