Just did my every 5 month renewal at the $19.99 plus taxes rate....it takes me 6 minutes on the call at 8886016302.

Just start out the conversation, that you want to either cancel or renew at that 5 month rate....keep saying no to offers until they get to the one you want.
Yep, I just always set a Google Calendar reminder each renewal to warn me two days before the automatic billing and give them a call (after checking SD to see if there are any new specials going on laugh out loud). Just got off the phone my wife's was about to expire tomorrow. 32 seconds and done for another 5 months!

if your a Howard Stern listener, none of these promos apply. Also if you use the Sirius XM app or want to use on your PC there is a separate fee for that. Lame.
I have been getting this promo for a couple years now, on 2 different radios, and I get the Howard channels, so I am not sure what you are talking about. I just set a reminder on my calender to call the day before the expiration, tell them I want the same promo, and boom it is done.

You may want to check your Bill. If you have XM, Stern is not included in the base package this deal applies to.
If you have Sirius radio, Howard is included, however you would still have to pay extra for internet/smartphone access.

XM is Sirius bud. It has been that way for quite some time now, hence the name Sirius/XM. As I stated, I have been doing this for a few years now, and I have had Howards stations since the day he started. What you might be refering to is if a person has an older XM radio. Then, in order to get Howards channels, you will need the program package XM all access, which they will give you for the same deal, if you ask. If you dont, then they will give you XM Select. Closed mouth dont get fed, so just ask.

Called to cancel. Got various offers for $120 for a full year. I asked about a 6 month plan, and got an offer for around $50. Said that I saw on the internet there was a $24.99 plan. Lady on the phone said she had to confer with her supervisor and that rate was only for certain radios (?). Came back in less than a minute and offered me the $24.99 plan for 6 months. I'm getting exhausted dealing with SirusXM, Comcast, Directv each time a renewal comes up and I plead poverty and cancellation. Thank you Slickdeals for coming up with the best deals. Thanks to the OP too.

this is for select, no howard stern , best price I could get for all access is $50 for 6months.
Added the 5 month deal for 20 to my wife's car though. thanks. kind of sucks that I have to pay $10 a month for howard stren, but I drive a lot. The radio stations I think are beat - Pandora for free is way better. my wife dose use the cnn though - don't know of a way to get that for free

I have a question about the free trials. I believe I started a free trial two months ago and it was supposed to expire. It didn't ask me for a credit card when I signed up. sirius still works in my car but do I have to call to cancel the trial?

I would because they'll just invoice you and you'll still be on the hook.

Thx OP! Just called and renewed 6 mos for $25. They also offered traffic + weather for half price $3/mo. Rip off, they should include it, hate being nickled and dimed.
