I've been calling XM/Sirius every 5 months for the past 2 years to get $25 promo plan. Just call to say you want to cancel and when they offer you a deal tell them no and you heard about a promo. I got a free Onyx satellite radio out of it too.

years ago, i heard it's a long, painful process to cancel service with Sirius XM. is this still true these days?

i'm interested to sign up for this promo, but will not do so if canceling is still a nightmare.
yes it's true but if you speak Bengal or ask them how is the weather in San Salvador u might have an easier time after you wait on hold for 45 mins and speak to 3 different people that really don't speak english

You can cancel online or call them , they keep giving free or really cheap extensions on service, been doing for 3 yrs & most I have paid at any one time is $7 a month.but for next 5 months I will pay $5 a month & then threaten to cancel & repeat

So yea, Sirius sent me a letter in the mail that they were going to give me 3 free months as long as my radio turned on from Monday - Sat of this week.

My car auto-turns on to it...and yep....all the channels are there!

Bwahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

You can cancel online! I didn't know that.
I may have to give them another shot.

The last time that I had Sirius, I had five radios on my account. I was catching the specials, until they sent me a $600 bill! When I tried to cancel, it was very frustrating. That was the highest that my blood pressure had ever been.

When I finally got them all cancelled, after hours of phone calls, I swore that I'd NEVER go back, but if you can cancel online......

God, this 6-month cancellation is annoying. But the second rep eventually gave me the $28 all-in six-month price (which is what the service is worth to me). So is there an easy online cancellation system to avoid this phone call in 6 months?

I keep getting emails for $20 for 5 months.

I just cancelled last week because mine auto-renewed at $60+! I got the refund and was offered soon much (including a free home unit).

The reason I cancelled was because I just bought a pre-owned car last week that came with a 3 month trial. Thing is, it includes the traffic/weather/gas prices, etc. that work with my head unit in the car.

I want to add the promo rate, but I am not sure if it includes all those extras. Anyone have luck with getting them to throw in the extras yet?

Still works for $25. Took less than 10 minutes. Easy.

SiriusXM sells your info to the scammers who call about extended warranties on your car.
Thanks. I started the free trial and started getting these and survey calls. I was wondering why. Pricks.

Keep in mind this promotion only applies to radios and not internet radio. Which for me doesnt make it worth it because I use the internet radio more then the one in my car. I just paid $49.99 +fees for 6 months for everything plan with internet radio. Was a great deal. This $25 is only good for those looking to just use it in your car.
