SlickDealers reviews:

I find these headphones to not fit on my head at ALL. They don't feel good on either side, including the correct way to put them on your head. The sound and bass is OK, it could be better. And worst of all, these headphones have NO resale value whatsoever. Here [ebay.com] are some that sold on eBay, pretty bad, huh? With Velodyne's "No Hassle returns", there is a "25% restocking fee" for all "promotional" items, so all I would get back is $18.75. Call THAT hassle free? And you have to call (or email) them even if you decide to return the headphones. After these, I got the Velodyne VQuiets, another mistake. No noise cancellation whatsoever, and sub-par sound and bass. My recommendation, DON'T BUY FROM VELODYNE.

Stop changing from bold to regular. I bold MY words, it stays that way.

...
I UNBOLD ALL THE WORDS. IT STAYS THAT WAY. LMAO

______

The design of the headphones is poor. Firstly, plastic used for the cup housings is cheap. The slider and hinge constructions are partly plastic, and are unlikely to stand the tolls of time.
Comfort is quite poor in my experience. The padding and clamping forces really should be revised on future products vomitvomit
What really irks me is that they are noticeably cheap looking. I find myself embarrassed to wear these outside, and I have significantly better headphones to use while I am at home.
Disappointed in their return policy as their photos make these headphones look far more premium than what you actually get. After all they are supposed to be $200 MSRP right?!? They have the kind of finish I would expect from a $10-$15 headphone..

I recommend against this headphone, and the other "slick" deals from Velodyne. Please stop supporting this crap mods!

______________

These are for the vQuiets (which I think is what sethr1272 has above as well since this comment was originally a partial response to that comment):
I wouldn't put the noise cancellation that poorly but it could be a lot better. They cancel ambient noise but sethr1272 is correct that voices often cut through that cancellation, which is pretty disappointing. They are obviously built around punchy, low-end bass, so I've found that listening to bass-heavy music (which I do anyway) greatly adds to the noise-cancellation. I also like classical music but you can hear voices through that.

Additionally, these will definitely benefit from a burn-in period. I was greatly disappointed at first because it sounded like I was listening to music from inside of a metal pipe. This is worse with the noise-cancellation on. They sound way better without the noise-cancellation. I did a 20 hr burn in using a track on youtube (white noise, pink noise, brown noise, with pauses) and they are greatly improved. Not all headphones need or benefit from a burn-in but these definitely do. The 25% restocking fee is true as well. I tried to return mine after I found the sound so disappointing. After the burn-in, though, I'd keep them.

Another point in their favor is that nobody hears what I'm listening to. They're great for the office if you have a relatively normal-volume office (the noise-cancellation would be poor at a loud office). I don't quite think of these as a paper-weight, and I'm warming up to them, but I also was pretty disappointed at first for their noise-cancellation and the quality of their sound to start. They are NOT $300 headphones. That MSRP is a joke. Would I buy them again? It's hard to tell. I've found a way to be happy with them but knowing what I do I might not.

Just bought one for $24.99 (no taxes, yay!), but I could not find any reliable reviews on these headphones.

Can someone tell me how good these are in terms of sound quality?

One reviewer [youtube.com] mentions they're not very good on the highs unless you have an amplifier. Other than that not much else I can find.

For the same price I've decided to give these a go instead of getting new pads for my Bose OE2s for the time being.

In for one to flip on eBay...or a price mistake cancellation.

OP doesn't mention that original price is listed as $219. On sale for $199.

At $25 a/c I guess you can't go wrong.

these headphones' MSRP is a joke. Build quality looks cheap and sounds like $15 headphones. these discounted prices are still too high for what you are getting. Frankly, I don't know how they got the audacity to charge msrp
