Walmart 2x Savingscatcher rewards when you redeem to Bluebird account

Posted 09-18-2014 by mule5 at 06:17 AM
I noticed today that you could now Double your Walmart SavingsCatcher Reward Dollars when you redeem your Walmart savingscather rewards to your Bluebird account.

https://www.bluebird.com/savings-...PURSELEARN

https://savingscatcher.walmart.com/

Unfortunately you may not ATM withdrawal these reward dollars, as they must be spent online or in store at walmart.

*Offer is valid through February 28, 2015, and subject to change or cancellation at any time. Amounts credited to your Bluebird account in connection with the redemption of Reward Dollars, including amounts credited in respect of American Express' Double Your Rewards Dollars offer, will be held as "Walmart Buck$," which are funds in your Bluebird Account that can be used exclusively to make purchases at participating Walmart locations and www.Walmart.com. Walmart Buck$ are not redeemable for cash. Amounts credited in respect of American Express' Double Your Rewards offer may not exceed $599.99 per calendar year. Click here for complete Walmart Buck$ terms and conditions.

It's free money x2 when you shop at walmart and they find a lower price with their savings catcher.

First deal post. Not sure if this promo should be in freebies or not. I searched for this and could not find it listed in either category. I hope this helps fellow SD'ers earn some free cash.

You can't open a Bluebird account if you have Serve. You'll have to close Serve first if you want this.

Thanks/repped, I just got the notification myself since I've been using the Walmart Savings Center thing. It's so easy to use. I'm not much of a Walmart fan, but my husband (Mr. Cheapskate) is, so we've been accumulating a few bucks. This makes it even better. Especially with no credit check. nod I do wish you didn't have to enter your SS# but it's understandable.

Be nice and rep the OP - it's his first deal.

You CAN use some ATMS free - we can use the ATM at US Bank in Ralphs.

Hi All,

I have signed up for the bluebird account and when I tried to redeem my savings catcher on the bluebird account, it brings me to the bluebird log in page. When I log in with my username and password and hit redeem, it comes up with a page not found. I contacted customer service at bluebird and the guy was of NO help. Any thoughts, suggestions or similar issues here?

Thanks!

So now I guess we need to look for stuff that is randomly really expensive at WM and on sale really cheap somewhere else?
