Comcast retentions offered me $79 a month for double play including HD and X1 and HBO

-12 Deal Score

$79 a month for the following

HD
X1 DVR
Preferred tier 220+ channels
HBO
Streampix
105 Mbps internet

No contract and price is good for 12 months. 30 day return policy meaning you pay nothing for the service.

That price can't be touched by dish or directv when you add the separate price of internet.

I went through the prompts that include telling them you want to disconnect all services.

105 Mbps internet $50?

HBO $17

220+ Preferred tier equal to top 200 with dish $79.99

free DVR $12 (hopper)

free HD... free streampix

haters will always hate but this deal is a steal for 12 months and NO contract.

they shipped me the box and I installed it myself for free,

Dish Network

$70 for top 200
$12 for Hopper
$19 for HBO

$101 and that includes NO internet and ALWAYS has a contract, this deal is like getting free 105 Mbps internet and no worries about 24 month contracts

I told them about the price you mentioned and threatened to return box and cancel and they gave me a $20 credit per month for 12 months..

So for $79 I get

105/25 Internet

Preferred tier TV which is everything but premiums

HBO and Streampix which I think is just Hulu

Free X1 DVR any room

Free HD

I wouldn't suggest calling and asking for "Retentions". Let them do that--you call and indicate you want to cancel service. They'll then try to retain you by making offers and asking what type of service you're interested in, and your price range.

Where are you at? I just renewed my Blast Plus promotion for the same price. They we're trying to push some triple play crap on me (multiple reps, different days).

We don't watch much tv but when we do sit down to watch we realize we have no channels; no spike, mtv, nick, amc, list goes on and on.

I just called Xfinity at 855-577-6453. In Minnesota my offer for a single TV is $99.99 for 24 months but X1 DVR is only good for only first 12 months at the $99.99 per month rate. X1 DVR adds additional $20 per month if I want to keep it for the second 12 months. Offer is good until 11/16/14.

If I want to add any additional TVs to this package, I pay a box rental fee of $9.95 per month for each additional TV.

The additional taxes and fees in Minnesota adds about $6 per month.

Total cost for a single TV with X1 DVR for first twelve months is about $106 per month ($99.99 + $6). The second 12 months adds another $20 per month for a total of $126 per month.

I am wondering how can I get one X1 DVR box for 24 months at $99.99 per month (plus the $6 taxes and fees per month) let alone two X1 DVRs for $89.99 for 24 months.
