Refundable (if unused)! I just got refunded, since I can't gift it (i.e., chose "can't use b/c of restrictions").

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You must bring PRINTED voucher to redeem. Mobile will not work.

Make sure you leave with a PLUS membership that is BLUE. Green = regular. Make sure the terminal does not ask if you want to "upgrade" to PLUS.

Register online to confirm the membership is PLUS.

I already have an active plus membership. If I didn't I would be all over this.
Espcially since I do not have a Costco nearby.

I wonder if the 30 day temporary membership that I just got counts as an "active membership."

SAMs club has gone down the drain lately. they changed their return policy so now it's no where near what it use to be, yet they charge membership like Costco.

The prices aren't that great for what you expect from a warehouse club. Good thing I got a year membership for free, otherwise I wouldn't shop there at all.

Still cannot understand why people are willing to pay a fee for being allowed to shop in a "Wal-Mart style and quality" environment.

There is nothing worse than Wal-Mart (and Sams Club) these days...

if you buy enough gas it pays off at a minimum

I might get it because sometimes there is a good deal but my ex had a membership 3-5 years ago and I watched it go downhill. Lots could be purchased at Walmart for cheaper sometimes. I sometimes would get lucky on a clearance video game so that is the only reason I am considering it.

We got this last time and so far its been pretty good. One complaint i have about the deal is that it seems like tons of people are buying it and the stores are not preparing for all of the free food coupons. We had to make like 6-7 trips in order to cash in the 4 free food coupons. It was like every other time we went we got 1 of the items and they were sold out of the rest of them. One of them has actually already expired; the item was never in stock the entire time since we got our membership (although the store agreed to honor it past the expiration date whenever they actually do get it in).
