Yawn

Exhausting weekend of cleaning, cleaning, painting, cleaning, and packing.. Then I noticed the AC leaking water all over the basement floor. Ugh. So we need to call a repair man and get that fixed before Wednesday, which is when we close on the old house.

Tonight I need to grocery shop to make sure there is enough food to feed everyone for them big move! And then clean my house because people are staying there for the next three days to help with the move.

You're my hero! I need someone to motivate me to get all that kinda stuff done! I still have some stuff left in the old garage that needs to be moved. I have hours of yardwork to do and a car to fix and organize the new house some more and actually keep up on chores!

I finally sold the Kia that I loaned to a friend for 6 months. I sold it for much much less than I wanted to (or than it was worth) because the wife just wanted it gone. They got a good deal.

In other news, I took my 5 year old daughter on a motorcycle ride (about 5 miles) yesterday and she loved it. She couldn't reach the passenger foot pegs, so she rode in front of me. That started a fight with the other kids when we got home, so I had to bring my 2 year old for a ride or the world was going to end. So I took her for a 10 mile per hour 3 minute ride on our local street. She didn't ever want the ride to end.

They are definitely my kids...

I have a fear that when we get to the new house, we are just going to leave all the boxes in the garage and they will never get unpacked!

In the end, I'm going to have two houses worth of stuff that I need to figure out where to put in the new house. Although the new house is larger than either of our houses, there is still not enough room for all our junk. I am going to end up purging a ton of stuff.

What are you planning to make them? Easy make ahead crock pot stuff and sandwiches I hope?

I tried to purge some before moving, but I'm doing some now too, although people (Phrozt's family) keep thinking that because we have this new huge house they need to give us more things...blarg!
