Not any worse than normal laugh out loud I worked only Til 11 and had some errands to run, then packing.
Traffic was actually lighter this morning and afternoon. I picked my cousin up at the airport and traffic was rough down there.

So there was a suspicious box from the Midwest mixed in with my Kohls and VS purchases that I had shipped to the house Licklips

Ribeye steaks, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, broccoli florets and Brussels sprouts have all been prepared and consumed. Kitchen is cleaned, too. Gee, it's too bad there's nothing absolutely pressing I have to do this afternoon. laugh out loud

Except for watching the Panthers put down the Cowgirls this afternoon. Muahaha

Panthers defense gets three interceptions and two TDs in the first half, offense gets a couple of FGs. I'll give Dallas credit for a good goal-line defense. Panthers leading 23-3 at half-time.

The CBS announcers just couldn't stand it. Finally, with less than three minutes left in the game, they gave the Panthers some positive comments. But they spent more time talking about Tony Romo's shoulder injury than anything else. Panthers as underdogs, my butt.

Ran a couple of errands this morning: Home Depot to get some wood screws to repair a cabinet hinge in the kitchen, and some bulbs for the front porch lights. Got home and installed the bulbs first, but had problems with one of the four lights. Tried two different new bulbs, and no light. Couldn't be shorted out, because the other light of the pair was still working. Figured it was a loose connection internal to the light fixture (they've been up for about twelve or thirteen years) so I took it down and brought it inside to troubleshoot the problem. Well, it was pretty obvious. Years and years of dead bug parts had settled into the light sockets, preventing good contact of the bulbs. Cleaned out the sockets, scraped the oxidation off the contacts, and then reassembled the whole thing. Thankfully, both sockets worked now.

I'm taking a break before crawling around on the floor to replace two wood screws in that cabinet hinge. Of course, it's the lower hinge, so it's the most trouble to work on. It's also an inside corner in the kitchen, so space is limited. Doh
