I can't believe it is nearly Christmas! Crying

I hope everyone had a good thanksgiving. I'm finally back at work, and where's my coffee? I had a dream last night that my mom needed a kidney transplant which lead to me sleepwalking around the house trying to get everything in order before I had to have surgery to donate mine. Then I was half awake trying to cope with the pain post-surgery. Needless to say I'm exhausted.

I found a jewel in my spam box the other day. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

The MIL framed her wanting us to leave the house for 2 days while she celebrated Christmas with the kids as a favor to us for our anniversary. However, her delivery was "I don't want to see either of you on my visit." Never mind the price of booking a hotel last minute.

Well, I'm back. The guy came out to upgrade my line for 25 meg internet on Wednesday.
So, I don't think anyone should be surprised to hear that I haven't had functioning internet at home since Wednesday. The tech is supposed to be out today, so if they do what they're supposed to and call me 30 minutes before arrival, I'll be leaving to let them in and make sure they DON'T leave until I have working intertubes.

And one of the guys here that could desperately use a throat-punching constantly does that uptalk/upspeak thing. He might be okay if that was his only massively irritating trait. But no, it's the icing on the dumb-ass cake. He's irish, I don't know if that's part of it.
