Stumbled across this in the Newegg Flash section. Optoma HD141X 1080p 3D projection, DLP technology, 3000 lumens, 20,000:1 contrast. Slightly better deal than Amazon with $50 gift card promo by about $10. Price good for the next 4 days. Free basic shipping.

4.7 stars out of nearly 400 reviews on Amazon.

This is a great price. I think Amazon would price-match, even if just for a few hours. Reading here http://thecreativealternative.com...projector/ the specs compared to the BenQ W1070 and the Optoma HD25 it appears to have an edge. At least on paper. But for this price, it almost doesn't matter. Barely double the price of a bulb!

The W1070 has excellent color reproduction. It's honestly worth the extra $100 if you can catch one on sale. It has to do with the color wheel. I'm not going to pretend I understand, but I've seen it in person and it is very, very good.

However, I'm sure 99.9% of people would be thrilled with the performance of this guy. Great price OP!

Have you seen the optoma in person too? I think Optoma goes longer on a bulb and bulb replacement is cheaper than Benq as well, last I checked at least.

Good deal, too bad I'm in the market for a short throw. I'm keeping an eye on the BenQ HT1085ST, hoping as the Super Bowl gets closer a deal might pop up.

Why warranty is only 90 days?

Why warranty is only 90 days?
I see:
Warranty
Limited Warranty period (parts): 1 year
Limited Warranty period (labor): 1 year
However, the no-refund return policy does bother me a little bit though:
Return Policies
This item is covered by neweggflash.com's Limited Replacement Only Return Policy.
Return for refund within: non-refundable
Return for replacement within: 30 days
