agreed. AE quality is almost like disposable clothing.

BS! AE quality is pretty good, better than Old Navy quality. I would say AE is on par with AF.

Picked up 2 logo-less sweater/hoodies.

A&F > AE > GAP

I totally disagree. A&F shirts are incredibly soft and durable. AE shirts are very thin, flimsy and stretch out of shape quickly. Huge difference in comparison.

I completely disagree than AE is better than Old Navy, I've found Old Navy quality to be very good and AE to be horrible. I would put A&F in between them.

What are people doing in their shirts & pants that cause them to self destruct from normal use? Every clothing thread there's talk of how poorly made X brand is or how fantastic Y brand's quality is. I've had AE polos that have lasted for years. They've faded, but never dismantled or came apart in any way. I got in on the $4 AE polos last week and they are perfectly fine for office wear.

Are your washing machines & dryers destroying your clothes? What activities are you in performance of to cause your clothing to fall apart?
