Keep seeing the same questions over and over about what channels are on SlingTV. Go here and click on each separate category to see the channels for that group:
https://www.sling.com/programming

SLING TV PACKAGES

The Best of Live TV (core) $20 per month ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, TBS, Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, Disney Channel, ABC Family, CNN, El Rey Network, Maker, Galavision, AMC (coming soon)

Sports Extra +$5 per month SEC Network, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, Universal Sports, Univision Deportes, beIN Sports, ESPN Buzzer Beater, ESPN Bases Loaded, ESPN Goal Line

Kids Extra +$5 per month Disney Junior, Disney XD, Boomerang, Baby TV, Duck TV

News & Info Extra +$5 per month HLN, Cooking Channel, DIY, Bloomberg TV

Sling is doing the same offer for the Roku Stick (free) or Roku 3 ($49) directly through their website. Go to the homepage, and at the bottom of the screen you will see deals. I just signed up, and it did not make me sign up for 3 months, only one month. Total came out to $75 for the Roku 3 and a month of access, saying I can cancel at anytime. - hawleyncsu (I believe this is wrong, it can not be replicated) (I also believe this is wrong) - See post 278 for screenshot Yes it put in cart, but you can not check out. (I was able to replicate this but when i checked by bank account, they took the full $59.97)

Even if you already have an account, you call and they will let you have the deal (the whole new customers thing is a little misleading). If you have account and try to do it online, it will not work.

Just an FYI for anyone still considering this deal. I just got off the phone with support after I was seeing 1.5 Mb/s connection on the Fire TV while 4.7 Mb/s on Roku for the sports channels. Both connection speeds were consistent. I was told this is due to a design of the Fire TV only supporting 30 frames per second as opposed to the Roku supporting 60 frames per section. It only makes a difference on the sports channels according to support, but it is a noticeable difference. Can someone verify? Specs for both Fire TV and Fire TV Stick say 60fps

The Sling TV site also mentions a similar deal for a Roku stick or a Roku 3 if that floats your boat. Not sure where you end up purchasing it thought.

It also looks like you can get a 14 day trial instead of a 7 day trial if you sign up through the AFTV app.

Does Fire Stick have a native way to authenticate in hotels that use a web portal like they advertised yet?

Is Sling any good? This is the first I've heard of it. Very interested in Fire TV though.

What do you use for live stream in TVMC/Kodi? USStreamnow?
