Sling is doing the same offer for the Roku Stick (free) or Roku 3 ($49) directly through their website. Go to the homepage, and at the bottom of the screen you will see deals. I just signed up, and it did not make me sign up for 3 months, only one month. Total came out to $75 for the Roku 3 and a month of access, saying I can cancel at anytime. - hawleyncsu (I believe this is wrong, it can not be replicated) (I also believe this is wrong) - See post 278 for screenshot Yes it put in cart, but you can not check out. (I was able to replicate this but when i checked by bank account, they took the full $59.97)
Even if you already have an account, you call and they will let you have the deal (the whole new customers thing is a little misleading). If you have account and try to do it online, it will not work.

Just an FYI for anyone still considering this deal. I just got off the phone with support after I was seeing 1.5 Mb/s connection on the Fire TV while 4.7 Mb/s on Roku for the sports channels. Both connection speeds were consistent. I was told this is due to a design of the Fire TV only supporting 30 frames per second as opposed to the Roku supporting 60 frames per section. It only makes a difference on the sports channels according to support, but it is a noticeable difference. Can someone verify? Specs for both Fire TV and Fire TV Stick say 60fps
