According to PIA this deal is partnered with Slickdeals, and from what the CS said the $60/ 2 year ends at the end of April 2015. Can anyone else confirm the promotion end date?Confused

It creates a new account, you can't renew your current account. Hopefully your old account expires soon. I'm losing 2 months because my current account expires in June. Not sure if that's worth it

How much are you paying for the 2 months compared to how much you'll be saving for the next 2 years? I guess if you're losing 2 months at the rate of say around $2.67 which was at a yearly deal. so 20 bucks - ~$6 is still worth it I would say. I also noticed that it'll renew every 2 years for that price as well it looks. Not sure if they have any clause that will state prices will change w/o notification.

Unfortunately for me I got months left and I'm going to have a chat to see if they can do anything for me (or people who has months like me left on account)

Update ***

I spoke with a rep from the chat in on PIA's site and he provide the below info. Hope this helps anyone else who will have the same question I did about having months remaining on their account. Please note, I paid through Amazon so that might be a factor for some of you that might have used other means (ie Bitcoin)

Greg M (01:16:15) : it would provide a new account, you're correct, but I can assist you in going through cancelling the existing account. You'd simply log into amazon and find the earlier purchase, then unsubscribe from it there, and that would leave the current billing period. In fact, as you've switched from monthly or yearly to the 2 year account, you could email helpdesk@privateinternetaccess.com to request refund of the earlier account as well, and we'd honor that request
Greg M (01:17:22) : I wouldn't be able to cancel it for you I'm afraid. Refunds need to be processed via tickets like you'd get if you emailed helpdesk@privateinternetaccess.com, that should give you a ticket ID in reply Smilie

UPDATE: Final
Finally received my refund, It took a few days and I seems I worked through a few people after email exchanges. One was to tell me to cancel the subscription, then provide the information, then after email notice of account terminated and refund sbumitted. For people who might be having issues, my account was from Dec 2. I'm not sure of your situation but possibly if it's been over a certain amount of months that might be the reason you aren't getting a refund. In any case, good luck.

Let us know if you can. Apparently this is slickdeals, and we'll see if their customer service is good too.

Meaghan M (01:29:27) : Hi xxx, my name is Meaghan M.
xxxx(01:30:16) : hi
xxxxx(01:30:37) : The 2 year VPN deal, will it renew at the same price?
Meaghan M (01:30:42) : The price should stay the same, so every 2 years you will be charged 59.95, unless you decide to cancel the auto-renew before hand.
xxxx(01:30:59) : thank you

Yeah, I'm finding out now as I'm waiting on a reply email. From my updated post, Greg M said that they'll honor the request. So fingers crossed. I'll update my original post on if it was successful on getting a refund from the other 1 year account.

By the way, your name is in the chat you posted. Wink

This is a great deal. My $31.95 annual subscription will auto-renew at the same price on 7/5/15. I wish there was a way to just switch over to this deal. It's like penalizing existing users.

This service is really easy to use.

How would you even pay for this isn't the point of it being anonymous? I am pretty sure you would have to pay with a credit card.

You can pay with bitcoin, ripple and many different giftcards anonymously. Although does anyone know if they will accept giftcards for this special offer?
