So you think HBO will lower the subscription fee to ~$7.5/mo? You must be on drugs LMAO

I haven't personally signed up yet, but per instruction from app description you subscribe via in-app purchase and you will get the free trial.

Meh, I'll wait until Apple is done inflating the price on this service and the rest of the world can access for around 50-60% of the current monthly subscription rate.

This is the same rate my service provider charges to add it on every month. I doubt the price is going anywhere but up. If I weren't already getting it for 12 mos. free I would probably go for it. But to each his own.

Plenty of people will jump on this deal just for the new GoT.

I have seen tech reports that claim you just access it through the HBO now website on a PC. Engadget seems to confirm this.

As far as I can tell, HBO Now will cost $14.99/month on the web, just like it will on iOS. The iOS app and the 30-day freebie for those who sign up in April appear to be the only real exclusives for the Apple crowd. CNN media correspondent Brian Stelter adds that competing set-top boxes from Comcast, Verizon, and others will be able to offer HBO Now three months after the initial launch. Android and Fire OS devices should be able to get in othe action then, as well.

PC access makes it a moot point, but does anyone who has actually installed the app know if it works with Chromecast?

you can start the 30 day trial anytime right? Best to do it sunday for Game of Thrones for at least a few episodes.

It's $15/month after the trial? Seems too expensive. Might get a free trial and cancel after

Is the 15$ for live viewing of their channels.. Or they just changed the name of hbo which comes free for subscribers and called it hbo now to charge what they do for all channels plus hbo go..

Highly inflated if not including live streaming.
