Confirmed price mistake guys, this was below cost:

We underwent an internal system upgrade early last week and it's clearly throwing out wrong pricing. Yes, $225 is way below our cost and it's a price error that won't be honoured. Yes, it should have been caught before it got published. If you're curious about actual cost, it's somewhere in between most sale online prices you see and Frys / Microcenter's in store doorcrashers.
We are not trying to advertise low prices for the sake of drawing in traffic - we monitor enough online communities to know that it does more harm than good. We pull enough traffic through our social media, Youtube channel, and newsletter where something this underhanded would simply be stupid.
I'm not the guy in charge of pricing, but when I get in on Monday I'll try to see if there's something we can do for the community like an extra coupon code or gift. As for all the talk about fake accounts, again I'm not stupid enough to attempt something like that here. Just look at Unidan.
Just like with any reviews on the internet, you'll always see an angry vocal minority's voice more than a happy majority. If I just bought an amazing game, I would spend my time playing the game. If it crashes to desktop, then I'd spend my time posting on forums. Although some people may hate NCIX for not being able to honour a price error, we also have many fans that love our Tech Tips Youtube channel. They have no reason to post 'I love NCIX' threads everyday, but they'll chime in when others talk about how bad their shopping experience was.
Many of you know that our Canadian side is pretty well sorted out, while our US side needs a tremendous amount of work. We realize that, and hopefully through problems like these we can justify expanding the operation. Again, I'm very sorry that we're not able to honour this price error. There's no malicious intent involved - it's just incompetence."
I hate that people are complaining about this too. In the terms and conditions it clearly states that they are not liable for price mistakes.
