Please help by filling in info of the PROS and CONS of this phone.

PROS:
-
-

CONS:
For T-mobile customers, the Zenfone 2 does not have Band 12 support which is their low band frequency that is better for building penetration
-
-

Bootloader has been UNLOCKED so we should see custom ROM's pop up soon
http://www.xda-developers.com/asu...hout-asus/

From GSM Arena:
LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 17(700), 20(800) - US

Just a FYI: *The 18W BoostMaster adapter is included with 2.3GHz/4GB ZenFone 2 model only. For 1.8GH/2GB model, the 18W BoostMaster adapter is sold separately.

For the people asking repetitively, this is a GSM phone...it will not work with any CDMA carriers like Verizon, Sprint, Virgin, Net10, etc. (net10 has both CDMA and GSM options). It will only work with GSM carriers like T-Mobile, AT&T, Cricket, Straight Talk, Simple Mobile, Red Pocket, H2O, Solavei, Brightspot, etc.

Confirmed to work on US GSM LTE bands.

"Quote from fireballs View Post :

By the way their are compatibility issues with intel SoCs and some apps." <- This is overblown, the Zenfone 2 will run over 91% of android apps according to ARM.

SOME APPS DO NOT WORK ON INTEL BASED ANDROID PLATFORMS (I had put this in the wiki earlier, and someone deleted it). Google it if you don't believe it..<-Using the Zenfone 1st hand is much better than finding negative Google results.

FYI - Zenfone 2 Selfie [asus.com] coming out soon with improved cameras front and back, Snapdragon Base (not intel) so more app compatibility

Cases (You will find a variety of colors under most links):
HotCool [amazon.com] - Probably the toughest one out there. The case needs a small cut (with an exacto knife) at the headphone jack slot to accomodate jacks properly. Kickstand appears to be flimsy too. Nevertheless, if protection is your number one concern, this case is your best bet.
Nillkin Sparkle [amazon.com] - If you prefer looks over protection. It is a flip cover with a window that mimics the ASUS View cover.
KuGi cover with window [amazon.com] - Same as Sparkle but with a magnetic closure.
Nillkin Frosted [amazon.com] - Seems sturdy enough.
Sparin Ultra Slim [amazon.com] - Thin while offering some protection.
Nillkin Nature [amazon.com] - TPU clear case if you like being able to see your phone. Has covers for jack and connector slots to keep dust out.
Amzer Pudding TPU [amazon.com] - Soft case that seems to work fine.
Ringke Fusion [amazon.com] - Clear hard case.
Flip cover, wallet style [amazon.com] - Sleek look without window.
Demomm flip leather case [amazon.com] - Sleek leather look without window.

Quick Chargers on Amazon [amazon.com]. Many Qualcomm 2.0 chargers (does not need to be "certified") appear to work with it. Check reviews and use Google if you want to be sure.

The Zenfone 2 has been rooted. There are 3 ways to root the phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z...e-t3096596

Will post product links when they are live. Below is the Amazon product link that they mistakenly released early, but confirmed shipped the orders - Amazon product iD B00VWKKET4:

Amazon - 2 GB/16GB model - $199 [amazon.com]
This phone's dual SIM is not good, second SIM only support 2G, not like other Chinese phone's dual SIM both on 4G/3G/2G ...
NON-REMOVABLE battery is also sucks ..

Unfortunately, this phone was too hyped and will be very unlikely to live up to the lofty expectations.

What LTE bands does this have (IE, can you use it with Verizon / T-Mobile / ATT?)?

never, that would rip a hole in the space-time continuum

I wish companies would realize that 16gb is not enough for phone storage. I wonder how much storage is left on the phone after OS out of the box? If microsd cards could be completely integrated, then 16gb would be enough though.

Want! I just wonder if it is worth it for the 4gb version. I'm not certain I do anything on a phone that requires that requires that much...but it does sound awesome.
