Do these come with the line or do you have to buy that separately?

Reviews seems to say you have to buy your own line.

Most rod combos aren't gonna come with line. Unless you buy a really cheap set or one of those kiddie poles. These look slightly better and Daiwa is a pretty good brand, so I think even their lower end stuff isn't gonna come with line. Getting line and spooling one of these up really isn't difficult at all. Just check Youtube if you're not sure how.

Picked two of these up earlier (5'6" and 6'6") nice combos for the price, rod has good action and reel is suprisingly smooth for 1 bearing. You need your own line and also not mentioned these are 2 piece rods - perfect for leaving in your trunk and fishing on the way home.

Thanks OP! I ordered this deal for upcoming camping trips here in AZ. It's actually a pretty cheap combo compared to the alternative $15 combos at Walmart. Most of the cheaper ones are Ultralights.

It makes me miss fishing with my dad, using the old Zebco 33. I swear that was bulletproof. We had some other reels that were more expensive, but that one was iconic.
