Fry's.com has the Verizon Moto E Prepaid 2nd Generation Smartphone for $29.99 and I was able to successfully price match at Best Buy. As always YMMV with price matches depending on website availability and proximity to Frys stores. People have had luck both in store, online and over the phone. Currently Best Buy and Verizon have the phone for $69.99. Per mc_yankee Frys has free shipping over $34 so add a filler, no promo code needed.

I was quickly able to drop my activated Postpaid Verizon 4G LTE Sim from my Note 4 into the Moto E and had instant service. Runs the latest Android software and has a SD card slot. Long time lurker, first time posting.

I've made a step-by-step post here with screenshots on the correct way to activate it on T-Mobile or another GSM provider. If you experience any problems or have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Best Buy will only price match if there is a Fry's within 25 miles of your local Best Buy store.

No rear camera flash. It has FM radio, but no NFC.

The phone comes factory unlocked and can be used for GSM networks.
Instructions to use on any GSM network can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/m...k-t3098953

Whoo hot deal!! Coupled with the fact that they got the GSM bands to work (2G EDGE, 4G HSPA+ 1900MHz, and 4G LTE AWS 1700Mhz Band 4), this phone would work with AT&T and T-Mobile!

You can't. AT&T uses GSM technology while Verizon uses CDMA. AT&T and TMobile can be unlocked and switched between each other but they can't cross to CDMA.

This would be a logical answer, but this phone has 4G LTE, which is a GSM service.

EDIT: According to this XDA thread, it would only be missing 1 band of LTE from each of TMo and AT&T's service:

OK so according to OP it DOES have a SIM slot... does it really have a MicroSD slot or will I be fooled again like I was with the Moto G?

This is not the moto g that was onsale for $20 recently. This is the second gen moto e for Verizon which has both a sim slot and micro sd slot.
