Pepper Plan announced here and detailed in the wiki below.
Just to clarify. The free 200/50/10 plan has always been available thus far. The Pepper Plan is also free but is there is only fixed number of lines issued when the registration opens. Next time somebody can sign up for the Pepper plan is Friday July 3rd at 1pm PACIFIC.
Updated 7/8/15, then corrected 7/9/15
RingPlus is introducing a 3rd Free Plan called "Truly Free Plan" that requires no credit card starting July 15, 2015.
List of RingPlus' Free Plans
1. Free Plan: 200 minutes & 50 texts & 10mb data. Always available. Need to signup with a credit card.
2. Pepper Plan: 250 minutes & 500 texts & 10mb data. Limited time offer. Auto top-up required.
3. Truly Free Plan: 125 minutes & 40 texts & 10mb data. Always available for now. No credit card required.
On July 15, 2015, in addition to the Free Plan & Truly Free Plan being open, there will be a 24 hour promo in which the following will be open:
-Add One 1 GiG per Month for $8.
-Free Ports In + $2 Top ups.
RingPlus is introducing more add-on's for those who need a little more than what is included in their plan starting July 21, 2015 at 7pm PDT. The add-on's will be charged to your account every month until you decide to cancel it. Amounts will be added to your existing plan. For instance if you purchase 100 texts for $1 each month, that will give you a total 600 texts every month for Pepper users or a total 150 texts every month for Free users. I am expecting no rollover. Right now, it is unknown whether these add-ons will be always available or only available during designated promos.
Minutes - $1.80(100), $7(500), $15(1000), $25(2000)
Texts - $1(100), $4(1000), $6(2000), $8(5000)
MB Data - $3(200), $7(500), $8(1000), $16(2000)
Pepper and All the Add-on's are available for the time being. Possible that the new add-on's will only be available during promo's. SD member Watercube also says RingPlus is giving $3 credit to new users.
On Sunday August 16, 2015, RingPlus will offer a 3 hour promo starting at 12pm PDT where users of the Free Plan & Pepper Plan can get more data each month. Free Plan gets 110mb instead of 10mb. Pepper Plan gets 260mb instead of 10. In order to get the extra data, you must either be a (1) new user OR (2) put a new line & phone on your existing account. A new phone must not have been on RingPlus within last 3 months. As the requirement is one CANNOT deactivate an old phone, I am guessing current users are not able to upgrade their current line to get more data.
RingPlus will repeat the August 16 promo again on August 19, 2015 from 6PM-9PM PDT. Extra data will be seen in your account and available for use 24-48 hours after signing up.
Along with the new user promo already posted on the update for 8/17/15, RingPlus will also offer a promo for existing users from 6-9PM PDT on 8/19/15 AND 4-6PM on 8/23/15. The upgraded free plans are called VIP Free and VIP Pepper. VIP Free will give users 200 minutes + 70 texts + 120mb data. VIP Pepper will give users 250 minutes + 500 texts + 280mb data.
UNFORTUNATELY, NO PEPPER --> VIP PEPPER AND NO FREE --> VIP FREE.
1. Legacy members who joined before September 1, 2014 who top up anytime on August 19, 2015 will receive a 30% bonus credit.
2. Legacy members will be able to beta test an option on their dashboard to enable a hotspot feature on their phones. Do this during the promo times on Wednesday 8/19/15 from 6-9PM PDT or Sunday 8/23/15 from 4-6PM PDT.
3. Every legacy member who has ever completed a survey or interacted with an ad will receive a bonus of 10mb per month. If you have participated more than 5 times, the bonus is 40mb per month. By interaction, RingPlus is only counting where you "PRESS 5" and receiving a SMS OR completing the survey. Data is added automatically.
All changes will be noticeable within your account within 24-48 hours.
As mentioned on the 8/19/15 update, RingPlus will allow existing subscribers to upgrade to VIP Plans on 8/23/15 from 4-6PM PDT. Key word here is upgrade. No sidegrades allowed meaning no Free to VIP Free OR no Pepper to VIP Pepper. The only upgrades that should work are Truly Free to VIP Free OR Truly Free or Free to VIP Pepper. People who tried a workaround of downgrading from Pepper and then immediately upgrading to VIP Pepper have had the upgrade reversed.
Later in the day on 8/20/15, RingPlus announced that they will repeat the New User Promo that they had on 08/16/15 and 08/19/15. Promo time is also 4-6PM PDT on 8/23/15. New Free Plan lines gets 110mb instead of 10mb. New Pepper Plan lines gets 260mb instead of 10.
For the 8/27/15 promo:
1. NEW Pepper users will get 260mb instead of 10mb just like during the promos of 8/16/15, 8/19/15, and 8/23/15.
2. New Free Plan users will get 110mb instead of 10mb just like during the promos of 8/16/15, 8/19/15, and 8/23/15.
3. Introduction of the Diversity Free Plan. I believe top up of $5 is required immediately. Diversity plan will include 300 minutes + 500 texts + 300mb. As soon as you go over the minutes, text or mb, you will be charged $5 and given another set of whatever category you went over. That means you would get either another 300 minutes or 500 texts or 300mb for $5. This extra set can rollover up to 2 months.
4. Sidegrades are allowed for existing members. Pepper to VIP Pepper or Free to VIP Free is ok.
5. Once the 300 new members are signed up during the 8/27/15 promo, for every 10 new members enrolled, members who "Like the Live Update thread" will receive 1 added minute and 1 mb data up to 200mb max. This one-time gift of units expires in 4 months.
6. Anybody with a PENDING change cannot participate on the 8/27/15 promo.
Diversity Plan will reopen on 9/3/15 from 6-8PM PDT. So far there are no announcements of any other promos for 9/3/15. In addition, RingPlus will offer an introduce an optional voicemail system that users your Twitter account to update your status when someone cannot reach you by phone. RingPlus wants to see if there is interest in this voicemail system.
Diversity Plan only reopens 9/7/15 from 8am-9pm PDT. Those who want to sign up for the Diversity Plan and need a device have an option to get a "Free" HTC Desire phone. "Free" in this case means paying a $50 deposit. When the time comes that you no longer want to use RingPlus, you return the working phone and get your $50 back.
Redo of the 9/7/15 is scheduled for 9/13/15 from 9am to 5pm PDT. Only promo plan available will be Diversity. Either bring your own Sprint-based device or get the "Free" HTC Desire where you pay a $50 deposit and then get it back when you return the phone. Shipping is not free.
New Yorkers involved in Sunday's 5th Avenue Run for Life will be eligible for free shipping of the HTC Desire with proof of participation. A one-time bonus of 100mb will also be given if a record run is achieved.
On Thursday 9/16/15 and again on Sunday 9/20/15, RingPlus will offer the following.
1. Diversity Plan Again.
2. Introduce a Junior Plan which is like the Diversity plan except tailored for daily use. Users get 10 minutes + 10 texts + 10mb Lte data everyday. Overage on any day or category will automatically be charged $2.00. Like the Diversity Plan, Junior plan requires a top up of $5.00, and the top up expires in 2 months. Likewise, you are only charged if you go over. In both Diversity and Junior, there is no set charge if you stay within the monthly limits.
3. Anybody signing up for the Diversity or Junior Plans can get a "Free" Phone by paying a deposit. Upon returning the phone in good condition, users will get the deposit refunded. Shipping is not included in the deposit cost. Phone purchase is not required as users can always bring their own Sprint-based phone that passes their ESN checker.
HTC Desire: $50 deposit
Refurbished Iphone 4 8gb: $90 deposit
New HTC Evo Shift: $100 deposit
Refurbished Iphone 4s 8gb: $120 deposit
Samsung Galaxy S3: $150 deposit
When the Junior Plan reopens on 9/20/15, there will be a change. Although the Junior plan's allotment of 10 minutes, 10 texts, and 10mb per day has not changed, the overage has. Old overage was $2 for each time you go over in a category each day.
Now, if you go over 10 minutes of talk for the day, you will be charged $1.00 and get unlimited talk for the next 24 hours.
Anything over 10 texts in the day will trigger a 50 cent charge where you get unlimited texts for 24 hours.
After 10mb that day, the overage is 2 cents per megabyte. These overage changes ONLY applies to the Junior plan
Lastly, new accounts signing up during the promo period of 9am -9pm PDT on 9/20/15 will get a bonus of a 100mb every month.
RingPlus introduced a ONE TIME ONLY promotion of 1000 minutes + 1000 texts + 1000mb called the Future Plan from 6-9pm on 9/22/15. Yeah, this update was made after the promo ended. Reason for the promo was to research how deal discussions get spread on the internet. A top up of $5 is required within 30 days of activation. I am unclear on this, but I think the top up must be done manually as there is no auto top up for the Future Plan. Overage is 2 cents per.
Redo of Future Plan. Plan details same as before. This time you also have to post to Facebook. RingPlus says there will be some sort of promo for existing customers during the weekend but no details released.
RingPlus will open up the Future Plan to current members on 9/29/15 at 9pm PDT will "supplies last". Current means member at 5:30 PDT 9/28/15. One Facebook posting is required. The quantity available will be explained by RingPlus on 9//29/15. Sounds to me like it is best to get in early.

In addition, anybody who signed up for the Future waiting list before October 12 will be automatically upgraded to Future on the next billing cycle.
From 2pm-10pm PDT on 10/20/15, RingPlus will offer something called the Next Generation Plan 1. 1000 minutes + 1000 texts (unlimited talk & text to other Ringplus members) + 500mb LTE data. A bonus number of minutes, texts, and megabytes will be give each month to Future Plan 11 users depending on how well this promo is spread on the internet. $10 top up . Auto top up required. No social media required, but it is in the best interest of the user to spread the word for the bonus.
On 10/29/15 from 1pm-5pm PDT, RingPlus will introduce Your Plan. The base plan of 1500 minutes + 1500 texts + 500mb LTE data is free. The "Your" part means you can submit a proposal of how much more you want to pay for your specific overages each month. If you only want free service, do not submit an dollar amount in your proposal. Your Plan seems to be available to everybody. Top up is now $15 because of increased costs associated with credit card processing. I am guessing Auto top up is required. In addition, a number of people on the waiting list will be upgraded to the Future Plan on 10/29/15. Introduction of Your Plan was postponed and rescheduled to happen on 10/30/15 from 12-5pm PDT & again on 10/31/15 from 12-5pm PDT.

Original announcement-only post is now replaced with a new-to-RingPlus Q&A.
Q: Who is RingPlus?
A: They are a Sprint mvno (reseller).
Q: How is RingPlus different compared to other Sprint mvno's?
A: Company inserts their own ringback tones when you make a call.
Q: What do you mean by ringback tone?
A: You make a call and then hear "ring" "ring "ring" until the other party answers. RingPlus replaces the "ring"(s).
Q: Will the other party hear anything different?
Q: Can I replace what is being played after I dial?
A: You cannot eliminate it. There is alternative content that can be chosen for the account's Dashboard.
Q: Why was this thread rated thumbs-down for weeks?
A: RingPlus first started this concept of free phone service in 2013. By mid 2014, almost everybody had their accounts cancelled.
Q: Why should I trust RingPlus now?
A: You have to believe that their business model now is viable & that they have learned from their mistakes.
Q: What is the minimum calling requirement for the free service?
A: 1 call every 60 days. However, using your phone regularly will help allow RingPlus to continually offer free service.
Q: Do you have any numbers I can call just to listen to content?
A: AudioNow - http://www.audionow.co
Q: Anything else I can do to support RingPlus?
A: During the ringback tone, press 5 to get more information. There is no charge or obligation to do this.
Q: Does RingPlus have a limit on the number of free users? Would they mind if my friends & relatives signed up as well?
A: In 2013 and 2014, you could only sign up during the promo periods. Now, RingPlus wants everyone to spread the word so they can sign up as many different people as possible.
Q: Can I have more than 1 phone (for family members) on my account?
A: Yes. But if you are signing up for others and then letting them manage that phone in the future, it might be a better idea to sign them up using a different account. RingPlus is also "considering" implementing a feature where ownership of a phone can be transferred to someone else.
Q: If I have more than 1 phone on my account, are the units (minutes, text, and data) shared among all users?
Q: Why should I use RingPlus instead of Freedompop?
A: RingPlus does not require a smarthpone app using mobile data to make calls and sent texts. For Freedompop, you need to have a supported phone that you purchased from them (or pay $20 if you already have a phone on their suported list). Furthermore, you need to have a good data connection AND Freedompop's SIP app has to work reliably. Voicemail is also an extra feature on Freedompop. While it does not happen to everybody, Freedompop is also infamous for surprise charges. On the other hand, Freedompop gives much more data. You know, nobody says you must choose one or the other. You could use both services or choose neither if they do not fit your needs. Do what is best for your situation.
Q: RingPlus and/or Sprint sucks!
A: In the prepaid phone world, one size does not fit all. It is called Having Choices.
Q: How do I signup?
A: Have a Sprint-base phone that passes their validation checker. https://my.ringplus.net/device_va...que
https://my.ringplus.net/registrations/new Within the account settings is where you select add your info and select a plan.
Q: Does RingPlus give me a number when signing up?
A: Yes. Number is from your region, but you have no choice on the exact number they issue.
Q: How come I am getting an error when trying to sign up?
A: System will not allow activations in non-Sprint areas, so try a different address. Alternatively, try a different credit card.
Q: What free plans are available?
A: Free Plan, Pepper Plan, Truly Free Plan, VIP Free Plan, VIP Pepper Plan, Diversity Plan, Junior Plan, Future Plan, Jasmine Plan, Next Generation Plan, Your Plan, Leonardo Plan, and Goya Plan.
Q: I am confused with all these plans. Which one should I sign up with?
A: At this point, the list of plans is now just a reference guide of plans that were offered by RingPlus. Best is to wait for a promo if you are new. If no promo exists at the moment and you cannot wait, just browse their website to see what is available.
Q: What is the Free Plan?
A: First free plan offered in 2015 and started on June 13, 2015. You get 200 minutes + 50 texts + 10mb LTE data. A credit card or debit card is required. Auto top up is not required. Plan is always available for now.
Q: What is the Pepper Plan?
A: First offered on June 30, 2015. You get 250 minutes + 500 texts + 10mb LTE data. Auto top up is required using a debit or credit card. Minimum top up now is $5 + tax so your balance is never $0. If you never reach $0, there would be no need to add any additional money to the account. If you have an existing balance, you will not be charged the $5 minimum until your balance reaches 0. Plan now seems to be always available.
Q: What is the Truly Free Plan?
A: Introduced on July 15, 2015. You get 125 minutes + 40 texts + 10mb LTE data. No credit or debit card is required. All you need is a phone and an email address. Plan is expected to be always available. Obviously, you would need to top up with a card if you need more units for the month. Company also intends to implement soon a cash top up system using retail chains.
Q: What is the VIP Free Plan?
A: Introduced on August 19, 2015. Plan is an upgrade to the Free Plan and only available during designated promos. Users get 110mb instead of 10mb.
Q: What is the VIP Pepper Plan?
A: Also began on August 19, 2015. Plan is an upgrade to the Pepper Plan and only available during designated promos. Users get 260mb instead of 10mb. On 10/1/15, VIP Pepper plan was changed to 250 minutes + 500 texts + 280 mb.
Q: What is the Diversity Plan?
A: Opened on 8/27/15. Top up of $5 is required immediately regardless of current balance. If the $5 automatic charge fails, the line will be converted to the Truly Free plan. Plan is only available during designated promos.
Q: What is the difference between Pepper(and VIP Pepper) and Diversity Plans?
A: The important difference is that the Pepper Plan's overages are 2 cents per minute, text, or megabyte. Overage on the Diversity Plan is $5 for an additional chunk of minutes, text, OR data. Whether Pepper/VIP Pepper or Diversity is best for you depends on how much usage your line uses each month.
Q: What is the Junior Plan?
A: Began 9/17/15. Junior Plan is like the Diversity plan except tailored for daily use. Users get 10 minutes + 10 texts + 10mb Lte data everyday.
If you go over 10 minutes of talk for the day, you will be charged $1.00 and get unlimited talk for the next 24 hours. Anything over 10 texts in the day will trigger a 50 cent charge where you get unlimited texts for 24 hours. After 10mb that day, the overage is 2 cents per megabyte.
Like the Diversity Plan, Junior plan requires a top up of $5.00 immediately. Top ups expires in 2 months. Likewise, you are only charged if you go over. In both Diversity and Junior, there is no added charge if you stay within the limits.
Q: What is the Jasmine Plan?
A: Introduced 10/1/15. Plan gives 500 texts + 500 minutes + 500mb per month. A top up of $5 is required. This plan is like Diversity in that any overage will set off an auto top up of $5 only for the category that went over. That extra minutes or texts or data expires in 60 days.
Q: What is the Future Plan?
A: A ONE-TIME ONLY plan that was available on 9/22/15 from 6-9PDT. Users who signed up got 1000 minutes + 1000 texts + 1000mb per month.
Q:What is the difference between the Future Plans' Phase 1, 2, 3, and 4?

Q: What is the Next Generation Plan?
A: Plan 1 Introduced 10/20/15. 1000 minutes + 1000 texts (unlimited talk & text to other Ringplus members) + 500mb LTE data. First week of the plan, you get unlimited talk & text. $10 top up. Auto top up required. $8 for an extra gig. 2 cent minute/text/megabyte overage. Social media post required.
Q: What is the Your Plan?
A: Introduced 10/29/15. 1500 minutes + 1500 texts + 500mb LTE data is free. The "Your" part means you can submit a proposal of how much more you want to pay for your specific overages each month. If you only want free service, do not submit an dollar amount in your proposal. Your Plan seems to be available to everybody during the promo. Top up is now $15 because of costs associated with credit card processing. I am guessing Auto top up is required.
Q: What is the Leonardo Plan?

Q. What is the Goya Plan?
A: 1750 minutes + 1750 texts + 1750mb data. $20 top up Auto top up.
Q: How do I signup for the upgrade mailing list?
Q: After I reach my allotment of LTE data, am I then reduced to a slower speed?
A: No. There is no more data unless you pay for more.
Q: I am on a free plan, can I switch to the Pepper Plan during the promo?
A: Yes. The Pepper Plan would start when your current month ends. The $5 will not be charged until the Pepper Plan begins for your account.
Q: How much will it cost if I go over?
A: 2 cents per minute, text, or megabyte.
Q: Does toll-free numbers count toward by minutes?
Q: How about other features and costs?
Q: What is this 1gb for $8 promo?
A: For $8 a month, you get 1gb LTE data each month that does not rollover. Offer is only available during designated promotional periods.
Q: Is it more economical to sign up for the $8 promo or just pay 2 cents per megabyte?
A: Breakeven amount is about 483mb of data. Use more than 483mb? The $8 promo would cost less. If you a more than $8 in your account, system will take only $8. With no money in your account, the system will charge $8 + tax from your credit card.
Q: What does Free Ports In + $2 Top ups mean?
A: That is another limited time promotion where port ins from another service is free. Normal charge is $7.99 + tax. Once the port is completed, RingPlus will credit your account with $2. Update: Starting 10/30/15, porting in will be reduced to $6.99. However, porting the same number a 2nd, 3rd or more times will now be charged the amount of $20 each.
Q: What phones officially work with RingPlus?
A: Phones designed for the Sprint network. Here is the official policy from RingPlus:
Q: What about Sprint Prepaid, Virgin, and Boost phones?
A: Prepaid phones are supposed to be used for 1 year on that brand's service first, but that is not always the case. If the phone passes the Devices Check & you can register the phone, you are in.
Q: Can I put XXXXXXX prepaid phone on RingPlus?
A: Some are listed in the wiki. Also, search this thread to see if anybody has done it and also use the link above to check to see if it passes.
Q: Is a smartphone required?
Q: Will RingPlus cancel my account if I put in a phone that wrongly passes the Checker?
A: In 2013, RingPlus did cancel accounts with prepaid phones. Now they are saying they will not cancel anybody. The Checker is actually from Sprint. RingPlus has no control over it nor can they see any of the details.
Q: I am not too technical and just want to get a phone that works with RingPlus. Does RingPlus sell phones?
A: Yes. https://store.ringplus.
Q: Is signing up during the promo periods like Black Friday where the website grinds to a halt?
A: In 2013, that was often the case. So far in 2015, there have been no reported issues like that. Of course, it does not hurt to already be registered and ready to enter your info when a promo starts.
Q: I just signed up. What do I need to do to get the phone to work?
A: Look in your dashboard for instructions. You will need to edit the MDN (10 digit phone number) & MSID (account) on the phone. You might need to update the PRL as well.
Q: I cannot verify Google Voice.
A: Known issue that is being worked on. Some folks have gotten it to work after continuously reentering the verification code.
Q: Any other services like Google Voice where I can park my real number in case I want to change services later on?
Q: Can I change phones (ESN Swap) on my account?
A: Yes. Cost is 99 cents. https://discourse.ringp
Q: What is the minimum top-up?
A: Starting 10/30/15, minimum top-up is $10 unless the plan you signed up specifically featured a $5 minimum.
Q: Is wifi calling supported?
A: Yes, but you use your minutes even if calls are made with a sip app
Q: I heard there are call-in apps that cost money? Is it easy to get charged for them?
A: In-call apps such as Translator and Recall are activated when the user hits ** + Number during the call. Accidently activating a in-call app is unlikely.
Q: How do I check usage?
A: Via website or Android app https://play.google.com/store/app...oard&hl=e
Q: I just noticed if a voicemail is left on either my LG Volt or Kyocera Hydro, I don't really get a notification that I have a voicemail unless I turn on the SMS notification.
A: RingPlus doesn't support normal voicemail notifications. You can only set up notification via SMS or email. If you want normal voicemail status icons on your phone, you can install the R+Notifications https://play.google.com/store/app...ification
Q: Do SMS voicemail notifications count against your monthly limit?
A: No, not anymore. They used to, but RingPlus changed their system so that all text messages sent by RingPlus (the company) are now free. This also include those text messages you get if you press '5' during a ringback advertisement.
Q: Other than changing the ringback tone Radio Station, what are some of the other Dashboard features?
A: Call filter (blacklist and whitelist), Service filters (disable sms, mms, data for certain periods of the day), Enable or Disable (sms, mms, data, and roaming), Change phone number (99 cents), Swap Phones (99 cents), and play your voice mail.
Q: How much is mms (picture messaging)
A: 4 Cents each.
Q: How much is roaming?
A: 14 cents a minute, 55 cents per megabyte. Good to have but too expensive to use everyday. You would need to link a bank account to Zipmark. This means that users have to go out of their way to setup up roaming before it works.

UPDATED 10/14/15 Roaming Registration Advisory:
Q. Can you roam to non-Sprint towers such as Verizon?
Roaming can provide coverage in areas where Sprint coverage is too weak to connect. For example, you could roam to a Verizon tower when a Sprint tower was not in the area. With RingPlus, you have to register through another company to enable roaming. Charges are 14 cents a minute, 55 cents per megabyte, so avoiding roaming calls and disabling data roaming on your phone are highly recommended.
To enable roaming, you have to link your checking account to Zipmark, so be aware of the extensive personal information they require, which should be a concern to anyone in this day and age of identity theft and the ordeal that can get you into for the rest of your life.
- 1) Real name
- 2) Drivers license number
- 3) Last 4 of your Social Security number (worse than you think)
- 4) Checking account number

UPDATED 11/18/15 with Swapping tips.
Swapping vs. New line Waiting Period & Requirements
Swapping can be done to any eligible phone, it doesn't have to be a "new" in box phone. The phone can't be active on any other plan, though. You can use the ESN checker on RingPlus' website to check eligibility. And you need a balance on your account to pay for the swap. No phone on the account can be in the middle of a port-in process. Swaps into an existing free plan also require no waiting period, even if the device was recently on a canceled free plan or swapped out of another free plan.
Activating a "new" free line with a canceled or swapped out phone from a free line will require you to wait until the end of the billing cycle. In that case, RingPlus gives a message when you can activate a new free line again with the phone, and it may be a very short time depending on where the plan (that it came from) is in its billing cycle.
Quote :Goal - swap 2 phones between 2 plans with aid of a 3rd phone or ESN which is inactive, and swapping can be done immediately without a waiting period. First make sure your RingPlus balance on each plan has enough to cover the swaps (now $1.99) The plans do not have to be on the same RingPlus account. Usually the phones swapped to is available for use immediately, but wait at least a day before panicking.
Plan A - has Phone A
Plan B - has Phone B
Phone C is an inactive Phone or ESN
1) Plan A - swap from Phone A to Phone C
2) Plan B -swap from Phone B to Phone A
3) Plan A - swap from Phone C to Phone B
4) Phone C is back to being inactive
*Each of the 3 device swaps costs $1.99 cents each, so it costs about $6 to complete a three way swap as shown.
Canceling a free line ties up the phone until the next billing cycle if you are trying to activate a NEW free line with the phone, just as if the phone was swapped out of a free plan. Doing a device swap on a different free plan to the phone from the canceled free plan works immediately..

Quote :So the new policy for all MVNOs is that, if they pass our check tool, then they are good to go. They won't be removed or swept from the system.
Brand new VM or Boost phones will likely fail (for a number of reasons), but if they do pass, then they are more than welcome!

How to activate Virgin Mobile Paylo Samsung Entro on RingPlus
(note the ##):
dial ##VIRGIN# or ##847446#.
For MDN, delete the original numbers first by pushing the back key then enter phone number for mdn.
For MSID, delete the original numbers first by pushing the back key and enter the msid from your RingPlus account page.
(phone will reboot after you select 'done'.)
You may also have to reset the phone.
Basically, you'll never be charged unless you put money on the account specifically for that purpose.
If you have deleted it.. you'll need to find a copy... most likely.
