B&H Photo and Video has a promotional bundle for the X-Pro1 with two lenses (35mm f/1.4 and 27mm f/2.8 primes) for $949.85.

While the camera is getting a bit long in the tooth, these are some substantial savings. Compared with individual purchases (Xpro-1 at $799, 35mm f/1.4 at $599, 27mm f/2.8 at $449 ~ total of $1847) this is roughly $900 in savings.

This is the first deal I have actually posted, so any corrections would be welcome!

Wow yeah this is a hell of a deal. Fuji almost never discounts their lenses. This would make sense just to buy and then sell the xpro body and keep the lenses. The 35mm f1.4 is an awesome little lens. Sharp, compact, great colors but per the Fuji premium, overpriced for what you get (AF is also quite noisy and doesn't have an internal focusing mechanism so forget it for video).

This would seem to indicate that rumors of an "x-pro 2" coming towards the end of the year are true if they're trying to unload stock like this....

would the xpro1 be big improvement over the XE1 I already had? Very good deal indeed!

In many ways a downgrade when you consider the EVF in the XE1 is better. Image quality will be the same as they share the same sensor and image processor. Xpro is also larger and heavier. I'd keep your xe1 and wait for what is coming towards the end of the year.

It's a heck of a deal, the lenses are very sharp, excellent build quality. It's pretty much you get what you pay for. I owned X-E1 with kit lens and Fuji has the best SOOC IMHO.

PQ, they're the same but X-PRO1 has more controls and it has OVF.

This is a fine camera for an amateur but if you are a serious photog then you will need a Nikon D5.

I always give rep when I browse deals on my desktop, but the slickdeals mobile app is pretty limited in functionality. They should redesign it to include the ability to post deals from it, as well as edit past posts.

So you think people should get a camera that doesn't exist yet?

is this body/ lens weather sealed? how is the focus speed - has there been firmware updates that sped up the AF like on the xt-1?

Holding off gives one more time to think and/or make deals with the wife and/or devil before a deal hits fp...

Where does the XPro line stand among XA, XE, and XT lines?

Having put about a couple thousand shots through my x100t, which has the same sensor but a better processor, AF speed, EVF, screen etc, I would have to agree with you on the straight out of camera JPEG files. Colors are great and skin tones are perfect. My a7ii significantly exceeds it in outright image quality but my Fuji is more fun to shoot with.
