Ok newb questions:
Do I have to have my computer open and on to use this?
For $50 a guy is going to put Kodi (and a thousand other apps) on my Firestick for me.
How does it work? Plug it into my tv and that's it?
Will Amazon/Comcast be able to "block" this or will it be rendered useless in the future? I don't understand how it works.
Seems too good to be true and usually it is when it seems that way.
Thank for the help!!!!

No, you do not need your computer on

Yes, you plug it into your TV (and it will talk you through setting up the network)

Amazon *could* block it in the future with a firmware upgrade - I'd *guess* that was unlikely though
Comcast couldn't block it but they could block the sites that Kodi goes to to retrieve illegal data.

Free TV is too good to be true - it's illegal streaming

It takes like 2 minutes to put Kodi on the fire stick. There is a number of tools you can use to make it easy and is not worth paying someone $50 to use. You can find guides here [aftvnews.com]

I'd recommend trying to do it yourself before paying someone.

Not that I know of... but they *could*
Whether they would is another matter

Don't forget that this is the company that blocked legal torrents and throttled Netflix
