I got $100 in Chrome Incognito but $250 in IE privacy mode.
The question is, should I try and go for it? I have 4 amex cards, one of which is a Blue Cash Preferred (the one with the annual fee) and I opened a new Amex delta card just last month. Do they have a limit to how many cards you can hold?

i'm not sure but I think it is because these offers are only for new customers (not having had any amex products before). So use incognito/private and don't log into your amex account.

if you never had an amex account it shouldn't matter and you don't need to use private modes

Great offer for this card - if you can get it. I got one when it was $150. That's the regular promo, and this is actually a decent card for regular use, as opposed to the usual suspect cards, which are worthless other than the bonus.

If you have a login for AmEx, the offer will change after you login. When I first clicked the OP link, it showed 250, then logged it and now all it shows is 100 dollars offer. So be careful.

Where do you go to view that? I will be pissed if it went from $250 to $100.

I think the idea is to never log in during the application. Just do everything in the incognito window, type in all of your details as if you were a new Amex customer.
