If you are buying online, you need to get all the way to the cart before you will see the enhanced trade-in value. If you don't go all the way to the cart, all you will see is the actual value. YOU NEED TO GO ALL THE WAY TO THE CART!!!!!

THIS DEAL IS THROUGH VERIZON CORPORATE ONLY - either in-store, by phone or online, but only through Verizon corporate directly. You cannot get this deal ordering through 3rd party retailers (e.g., Apple or Best Buy) or VARs (i.e., Verizon Authorized Retailers, Verizon Premium Retailers) - they have their own deals.

If you are porting in and already have FIOS account, you might be eligible for additional discounts. I got $200 credit for each line with my FIOS account.

YOU CANNOT GET THE $200 TRADE-IN THROUGH COMCAST! I did not get the $100 port-in credit either and it has been over 3 full billing cycles from the date I opened my lines. Verizon reps are unable to give it to me manually since I ordered through Comcast.

This is probably a better deal than the iPhone trade in promo. Requires a new line + port in though.

Not online. It will just be an account credit.

It says "up to $400" so I don't think this will be like the previous trade in, where pretty much every phone was given a value of $200.

It does say "$300 trade-in VZW giftcard + $100 bill credit". So hopefully they're making the deal better and not worse right before I preorder my iPhone.

Yes, this promotion is exclusively to iPhone users.

It doesn't call out iPhone specifically anywhere.

But it says "Up to $300" which was $200 for any smartphone trade-in.

AFAIK, if you preorder online and recycle by mail you get an egift card that you can use to pay off the DPP. But you cannot make partial payments on the DPP - you have to pay it off in full or just make the payments with your bill each month.

The bill credit will be applied to the bill and the DPP payments show up on the bill each month.

Can I trade in my cheap prepaid phone? Or will I get nothing for it? How do you know how much you will get? It says "up to" $300 for your old phone.

I just confirmed with a customer rep that $300 will given for any iPhone 5s 16-128GB. This is a promotion that Apple is doing to push the 6s out on the market. Also, they can do a manager upgrade for people that want to upgrade early!

Did anyone get any luck for a $400 credit. Lines are going to be busy tonight with Verizon...

Hi All Smilie

Hoping to share my experience with this.

I took advantage of the previous "$300" for port-in/trade-in offer using one of the 2-for-$10 LG Optimus Fuel Tracfones from the Front Page deal a few weeks ago. For trading in one of those phones, I received a $200 Verizon Wireless gift card + $100 account credit (as well as an additional $100 via cashback + the extra $50 off the device using the Slickdeals promo code SLICK50).

Using a $10 Straight Talk Moto E from that deal that I had left over, I tried to submit a mock trade-in before 12am EST while the $300 deal was still active and was originally quoted a $200 VZW gift card + $100 account credit ($300 total bonus for trade-in). I waited until after 12am and then tried again with this current "Up to $400" offer... Unfortunately, it was appraised at just $5. So it looks like this confirms folks' concerns that this is unlike the previous offer where you get a set amount (in gift card form) for any phone that's traded in. The $100 account credit offer appears to remain valid, however.

I suppose this makes sense, since Verizon will be taking pre-orders for the new iPhones come Monday and in all honesty, I do not see Apple allowing Verizon to provide customers with $200 off their latest line-up for just any device people may have laying around. Do hate to be the bearer of bad news, but hoped this information may be useful to those interested in this offer Smilie
