(Thank you @Dbunk ) From FAQ: How do I know if my phone is unlocked or compatible?

If your phone was through the following carriers, it is not compatible. Verizon/Alltel, Boost, Sprint/Nextel, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, Page Plus. If your existing phone was used with T-Mobile, TracFone, Net10 or other GSM providers, it will have to be unlocked to work with our services. To check to see if it is unlocked, simply place a different type of SIM chip in it. The phone will show that SIM carrier on your phone if your phone is unlocked. If your phone is AT&T or Cingular, our SIM chip should be compatible.

I am a heavy SYW user and $200 looks like a great deal for me. Their lowest plan start at $5 which is no brainier! Just keep it active for 3 months and you have net savings of $185!!!

You probable almost can't cancel at the 3 moth time. Thus, going to pay for the 4th month anyway. So, $200 in points for $20 plus $3 SIM fee plus tax and fees, plus porting fees and T-Mobile SIM fees if you do not have the number to port from? Still a good deal, thanks, OP.

How many one can order?

Also the SYW number propagates and displays on the order confirmation page, so it is not like Discover where you do not know if the points are going to be credited to you.

I'm a RingPlus user, but maybe you can link with that Amazon AT&T Fire phone that comes with Amazon Prime for a year and get extra slickness with this deal.

I signed up for this last month when it was $100. I'm about one month in. I don't use it much so I can't comment on the reception and service. I plan on cancelling after getting the SYWR points.
I didn't have to pay any fees for the SIM card or to port the phone number. The porting was done online and simple. I picked the $5 plan. I ported from a freedompop phone. Since freedompop is a VOIP phone, it MAY BE possible to port a Google Voice phone.

The question, of course, is will Sears/KMart make it through the next three months? Smilie

Just when I think I am approaching the end of my SYWR run, something like this happens to suck me right back in.
