Go to raise.com buy a Dell E Promo Gift Card and apply it to your check-out when purchasing the TV. Just pick the best value gift card on Raise. You can use up to 3 Dell E-gift cards on a single purchase. Best case is to purchase 2 cards on Raise and pay the difference with your Credit Card. Use Dell's mobile site when using 2 or more gift cards on check-out.

1st Raise GC, paid $225 for a $250 card, using coupon SAVE5, also use befugal.com for 5% CB. $36.25 savings
2nd Raise GC, paid $456 for a $500 card, using coupon RAISE75AF, befugal.com for 5%CB. $66.8 savings.
FInal payment of $100 for dell using top cash back dot com for 2% CB. $2 savings.

Total CB = $105.05
Dell promo code can probably fetch $230, of if you redeem fully $300 at dell. Bringing down the total about $850-300 promo GC-$100 CB =$ $450.

This TV is edge lit w local dimming. Also, put PRIME before 4K. PRIME is LG's version of Quantum Dot technology. Nice deal! Repped!

The only review I see is on LG's website.

Here is a video of the 58" model that helps show its functionality

couldn't find any detailed reviews on this model (UF8300)....I'm concerned with viewing angle, 4:4:4 @ 60Hz, input lag.
Anyway, nice find!

No reviews anywhere.

Per tech description:

III this is nano-dots panel, i.e. HDR, along with the top model UF9500 !!!
However 120Hz TruMotion, which indicates 60Hz panel
It does have passive 3D.

Very tempting, though low Hz panel is not that good for gaming, and I am concerned of the coating as well - LG usually uses high reflective coating on 60Hz panels...

But then, for $550....in case one can use the $300 card for something else.

Hmmm

Only absolute beast system can run modern game >60hz at 4k.

ALL PRIME 4K LGs are 4:4:4 and IPS panels have the best viewing angles with no loss in contrast. Gaming lag should be in the low 40s milliseconds if past models with similar specs are taken into account. And PRIME 4K tvs do have HDR as well. Either out of the box or in a firmware update.
