Pretty intriguing...I'd say you're taking a slight risk ordering this but then again it's a Samsung, how bad can it be? Seems like a bargain for anyone looking for a 4K TV this size. Only thing I've seen comparable is that Vizio deal on Dell.

hmmm, not sure if I want this or the Vizio 65 in the same ad for 999. Any suggestions? not sure if 5 inches is worth the jump in price to the vizio, unless it really is a better TV overall.

still not enough content in 4k, therefore there isn't enough demand for these to justify buying these to flip. You might make $100-150 off this one at this price but might take some time to unload em.

I'd take a Samsung over a Visio, personally.

I'm just sad that it doesn't support 3D as well.

so, are the specs the same for the most part? just a size difference? I'd agree that Samsung is better overall as a brand, but if this vizio tv is particularly better spec-wise, I'd go for it.

Is 3D really all that it's cracked up to be on these sets?

Pretty sure this is a BF specific model, just like last year's 65 inch Vizio?

On a 4K TV Passive 3D looks amazing!
Unfortunately 3D 4K TV's tend to still be pretty pricey compared to non-3D models and Samsung seems to only make Active 3D.

will it at least have a sharp panel? costco has a 65" that's $700 off but you have to be a member to see what that means in terms of price.
