Buy an unlock code from eBay or be a customer for 6 months

You'll only need to pay for 1 month of service, but I do believe you'll need to unlock it to use on ATT.

Yes, you must pay for your first month of service, that's it. Activation is free online ($25 instore)

Which is free when purchased online via cricketwireless.com.

All new lines, new phones, and upgrades require the pre-payment of one month's service.

If you port-in a number form anywhere other than AT&T by 12/6, you can get a $100 port-in credit as well.

I purchased an S6 with their recent promotion and bought an unlock code online. Unlock process went as expected. I'm waiting on delivery of a T-Mobile pre-paid SIM to confirm.

I got free in store activation too. You can just offer to choose a more expensive plan if they don't allow it on the $40 plan. YMMV and I think you'll have more luck at an "authorized Cricket reseller" than a company-owned store, if there even is such a thing....

This cavernous thread has an echo..... Wink

Agree with earlier posts that this deal isn't that great. I still use a 5S as my main phone because I prefer the size for one-handed use and have no complaints at all, but the price would really need to be lower to be a great deal, IMO.

Definitely no reason to get a 5C when you can get a 5S for $20 more.
It has an echo because you are talking about 2-3 year old product.

It would be like if the CyberMonday offer was ONLY "Get a GS4 for only $99"

Would have been a lot fewer hits.....

If this had offered an IP 6 (non S) this sh&t would be BLOWING UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was talking about the nearly-identical worded post.

Yeah. I wish they would have done the 50% off the 6/6Plus like they did the Galaxy series.

Does this activate right away? I would like to buy one as a Christmas present so I would like to hold off on activation for a couple of weeks. Thanks.
