Any reason I should stay away from this phone? That price indicates it's lacking something somewhere.

Components slightly resemble those in the Xperia C4

I can't find anything negative about it. BLU isn't the best with OS updates, but at $99 it's hard to care too much...

Not at all. Keep the G2 - it's the superior phone.

It's probably not much of an upgrade. Performance will be better thanks to the software, better battery, and a new warranty, but that's about it. It's the best choice for a new phone with these specs. It's basically on par with your G2 though.

I don't agree, the Mediatek chip in the BLU benchmarks significantly slower than the Snapdragon 800 in the G2. Only thing better is perhaps a microSD slot.

I don't care about those anyway, phones are usually designed around a certain OS, and upgrading often has undesirable results (reduced battery, glitchy behavior, et cetera) for too little gain, IMO.

Trying to justify spending $100 to gain to .7" of screen. This seems like a really nice phone.

Don't care about fancy screens or meaningless brand hype, just looking for a decent phone with a bigger screen. Would like a bigger battery or a removable one so I can carry a spare. This doesn't look to have removable battery Frown

Before I list of what the phone is lacking, I would like to remind the reader that I am simply answering the question and in no way trying to compare this device to a flagship.
It probably won't have custom rom or custom kernel support for the mediatek processor, no OIS, not a Super AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass 4, no quick charging, band 12 is available but it may not be T Mobile compliant to use, and this is a rebranded Chinese phone (all Blu Phones are rebrands). It could be a Gionee Elife or an Allview.
