Deal Details

Hi folks,

I've been looking out for deals on CPU, Motherboard, GPU, SSD for a custom hackintosh. I've combined the AmexJet ($20 off $50), Apple20 (20% off) and 15Now ($15 off $35) offers.

All these offers worked for me on the same account (some users have suggested that you need to create a new account for each purchase - YMMV).

CPU: Intel Core i5 i5-4460 https://jet.com/product/Intel-Cor...332742c3b2 $180 - 20% off - $20 Amex = $125 no tax

Amazon $181 plus tax http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Core-...B00JIJUBAS
Newegg $190 plus tax. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6819117302

Motherboard: G1 Ultra Durable Z97X-Gaming 3 https://jet.com/product/G1-Ultra-...390c15b298 $118 - 20% off - $20Amex = $73.76 no tax

Amazon: $118 plus tax http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GA...x+gaming+3
Newegg $118 plus tax http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6813128711

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 950 2GB FTW 02G-P4-2958-KR https://jet.com/product/EVGA-Corp...9e68945c22 $169.99 - 20% - 20 Amex= $115.19 no tax

Amazon: $179 plus tax http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForc...B013WQC9U2
Newegg: $179 plus tax http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6814487159

SSD: SanDisk SSD Plus 120GB https://jet.com/product/SanDisk-S...763f12c521 $57.65 - 20% - 15NOW = $29.99

Amazon: $45 plus tax http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Int...B00S9Q9UKS
Newegg: $44.99 plus tax http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6820173071

Also available: TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 N900 for $25 (20% off and 15NOW)

I had 3 AMEX cards which I used for the CPU, MB and GPU purchase.

Hackintosh Configuration:

Intel i5-4460 ($125) with AMEX
Gigabyte Z97X- Gaming 3 MB ($73) with AMEX
EVGA GeForce GTX 950 2GB FTW ($ 116) with AMEX
San Disk SSD Plus 120 GB - $29.99
TP Link Wireless Card - $25

Total: $368 no taxes

Welcome, the GTX 950 2GB FTW is a decent upgrade for a budget build and I haven't seen many good deals on the GTX series for under $150.

YMMV on the stacking of codes. Apple20 and 15now stacked for me for the SSD purchase.

My opinion, get this R9 270 [newegg.com] instead(similar performance) as it's a fair bit cheaper and use the 20NOW coupon on this PSU instead [jet.com].
