Stumbled across this today. I own a couple of Yeti tumblers and they are the best cup I have ever owned. RTIC has the 30 oz only at half the price of a YETI.

Link for 30 oz Tumbler:

Links for Coolers:

20 Quart in White - $124.99

20 Quart in Tan - $124.99

45 Quart in White - $174.99

45 Quart in Tan - $174.99

65 Quart in White - $199.99

65 Quart in Tan - $199.99

I Have no affiliation with RTIC at all. Just an informative post. All prices are their regular price but I think it is a goo deal because it is an exact copy of YETI.

They're based out of Houston, TX and make good stuff. I have a 65qt cooler on order. Currently trading cheaper prices for longer lead times due to their business model which is the only downside.

Since when did cheaper knock offs all of the sudden become a deal?

I placed a pre order for one of their coolers back in august-ish? Was originally quoted an October delivery date. that then changed to November. then December. now January. if I had to do it over again, I certainly wouldn't buy again unless they were in stock ready to ship.

With Yeti's sold out everywhere, I'll definitely give the knock-off a shot. Delivers in January, but worth a shot for an extra worst case scenario. Wish they had the 20oz too though.

Academy sports still has the Yeti for $30 and free ship. Yours is $10 cheaper ($20) but must buy more for free ship ($25 and over). Hmm. What to do

these RTIC tumblers are the real deal. Works as well as my yeti. The lid seems a little less dense, but otherwise identical and Yeti lids can be picked up for $5.

Got my RTIC 30 ounce tumbler a few days ago. It is amazing. Ice stays for over a day and it doesn't sweat at all. I was considering a Yeti, but can't imagine it could be any better than this RTIC for less than half of the Yeti price.

You might want to check out Amazon reviews. Some of the RTIC coolers have 10% one star reviews, which is not so great. I also noticed that the 65 quart cooler is about 20% heavier than the YETI cooler at 36lbs. 36lbs isn't crazy heavy, but when you stack that on top of the 70lbs of ice that you can fit in this thing, it would be a tough one man carry for sure. I couldn't find reliable data on how much your average 50qt cooler weighs, but I think it's less than 10 lbs.

It might be heavier because it is actually bigger than the yeti. The yeti 65 has a 52 quart capacity
