these are nice units. I love the beebox design. Wish it had more cpu options though and included some nice Skylake processors rather then just the Intel N3150 Processor --> I like the BeeBox design betetr then the NUC - and it supports 4K as well us the new USB CPU mark about 1500 on the BeeBox 3150 vs the NUC above i5-5250U is 3500. BeeBox 3150 can be had for $99 after $30 rebate at NewEgg (and comes with a remote) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6856158045

Which will cost significantly more and be at best 10% faster (average speed increase with each intel generation).

I assume the Skylake versions will still drive down the price of these last generation units.

No doubt Skylake is newer (better), but it may be a year or more before the improvement is worth the premium. Comparable Skylake NUC systems will probably run north of $600 with few (if any) discounts and the DDR4 requirement.

I have a few 8GB sticks of DDR3L laying around. I'd rather have two of these than one Skylake for the same money. There's always next year to buy Skylake closeout sales Wink

Wait for few more years before you can see a significant improvement between two versions.

guys.. I'm looking for these type of small computers but totally FANLESS. I hate noisy systems unless it's a high end gaming gig. But since I don't game, any recommendation?
