Thread Details

It's that time of year again when Garage sales are popular. I have seen some discussion of Garage Sales in regular discussion threads, and perhaps there is talk of it in the BS thread, but I think it would be good to have it's own thread and people can add in the WIKI what sold for them and at what price - or what they will sell it for.

This way people having a garage sale can have a nice reference sheet and can learn from the mistakes of others. I will post in the WIKI info I have read.

Yes, I am having a garage sale this weekend at a friends work. I have read some info on another site and it is nice that they have their own thread for this.

Garage sales are not for everyone, please no bashing on those who wish to do it. It's a way to make money to buy more coupons and fuel your 'addiction'. LOL!

Mods, if you think this would be better suited in a different forum, please advise or move. I just thought it would be good to have a garage sale discussion and a WIKI to boot to help others.

Thanks!

Vicki

PLEASE NOTE: This WIKI is a reference guide to price the items you may have. Know your states laws before selling new unopened items or medicine. Laws vary from state to state, and can from city to city on what is allowed to be sold at a garage sale or flea market. Sell at your own risk. Thanks!

Garage Sale Tips:
- Use a muffin tin to keep coin denominations separated.
- A fishing tackle box is a great way to keep money safe and organized - coins separated in the compartments, and bills underneath. Some even have locks
- Use a carpenter's apron with pockets in the front. Works great, bills and .5 and .10 on one side, .25 on the other. It goes with you, for safety and convenience. Works great for school concession stands too..

Prices here in the wiki show a range of prices SDers have gotten for each product/item.

*Please post what you sold items at in your individual post - and if you are in a big metropolis or not - this sometimes makes a difference.*

Can I ask how much you're selling your High T for?
I've been selling them for $15 or 2 for $25. First day, I sold them for $10 and they moved WAY too fast. Luckily I only brought 5 with me, so I could honestly say I was out (for the day). Next day I raised the price and they still sold, I brought a case with the second day and it was gone by 10 with most people doing the 2fer deal. I'm seriously thinking about bumping the price up to $20 or 2/$35. Like I said, sadly only have 2 cases left.

Was this a regular garage sale or flea market? I had mine priced $10 each or 2 for $15 and it wasn't touched. But few things were at that sale.laugh out loud But you've given me hope.

what state are u in ?crazy that pantene didnt sell..?!
I'm in CA. It may be more the particular area that I do my sale in than the state as a whole. I like the CVS deal on Pantene this week (it works out to $2 for 6 bottles) but I'm hesitant to buy it since it hasn't been selling for me.

The HighT is a dietary supplement testosterone booster. It was FARR at Wags a few weeks back. The $5/$20 is a catalina that was printing at Wags the past 3 days and gives you $5 off of a $20 purchase. HTH

Because Suavitel has a hispanic following, I'd be sure you have a large hispanic population before you stock up.
