Description:

The Husky 1-1/2-Ton Aluminum/Steel Racing Jack with its low profile design will work on vehicles that are low to the ground making it easy to lift and make repairs. The dual piston pump design makes lifting and lowering the vehicle quick and easy. The all-aluminum construction means the jack is light in weight and not nearly as heavy as steel construction lifting jacks. The swivel ball bearing casters make it easy to position the jack before lifting.

Yeah it's $90 online now, but I think there is a coupon that will bring it to $65 this weekend? Either way they look almost identical, wouldn't be surprised if they're made in the same place. Picked this up, along with the $25 2 ton combo [homedepot.com].

You put it under a car to jack it up. Sometimes you have to be under a car to fix them.

It's good for compact and mid-size sedans. Anything more than that you'll want to get a 2+ ton just to be safe.

I would prefer spend a little more for the Arcan at Costco or HF version

looks identical to the Pittsburgh jack from HF, just different color, guessing same OEM in china.
given you can routinely get them for 59 from HF with a coupon not really an unbelievable price.

as far as low profile, you'd be surprised sometimes how little clearance some cars have.
so ya believe it or not it's a pro.

it's not as bad as it might first seem, you're really only supporting on avg about 1/4 of the vehicles weight on the jack.

1/2 if you was to try and jack up the rear end off the differential or something..
I suggest jack stands for situations like that.
higher capacity jacks are better for sure.. but 1 1/2 tons goes further then you'd think.
