Comcast Free upgrade to Blast - 150 Mbps for current performance internet customers.

-7 Deal Score
208,192 Views
I received this offer earlier (see image attached.) and called today. I am upgraded to Blast for two years lock-in price of performance (44.99) from now with 2 years agreement ( It has early termination fee if service is discontinued after 30 days remorse period and within 24 months. - $240 max which reduces by $12 every month of service during 24 months of agreement period.)

I was anyway out of my performance promotional period and need to hunt for better price tier. Good one for those who have no other overall better option than Comcast (just) Internet.

You need to call 1-855-339-3149

Update: It took 30 hrs to get my account updated. I power cycled the modem and see image below....loving it.

Good luck everyone try to take a vacation day from work to get the deal. Trust me after they say you got the upgrade, check your speeds. I'm sure you'll be calling them all day to sort it out.

Once my promotional period ends, I look to see what other internet providers are offering and call to cancel my comcast. It's very important that when you call that you say you want to cancel your service and get sent to the retention department. Once I get a human on line, I tell them I want to cancel because the service is getting too expensive, but I would stay with them if they could lower the price. 9/10 times I've been able to get my speed increased for the promotional price. I just did this last week and upgraded my internet speed from 105 down to 150 down for an extra $3/month. I now pay $59.99 for internet. Hope this helps!

ATT Uverse has been great for me. Not really high speeds, but they are honest and good to deal with.

Anyone thinking that Comcast would offer a 'deal', should have their head examined.
Comcast will find a way to screw you, kill you and screw you again. If you are lucky, in that order.

What Comcast has done to the technological competitive edge of this country, is nothing short of treason. There are third world countries with better and cheaper internet services than what Comcast offers us. I really feel bad for people without a secondary option. But then again, these people need to go vote their city councils out and get competition to their towns, as most of the city councils are in comcasts pockets. These people should not buy or rent homes where there is no secondary option. Collapse the ducking housing/rental prices in locations where there is no alternative to Comcast. Send a message with your wallet.

"Comcast Deal." - There isn't a more oxymoronic description than that.

Comcast is the devil...however they have the best prices. I get 75 mbps, basic tv and hbo for $35 a month. I do have my own modem and router so no bs fees there. Also no contract, whatever you do...don't sign a contract or auto bill pay.

I have tried this many times. Could not get any better rate with Comcast 44.99 for performance.
