Almost one year exactly since the last deal on these 4' LED shop lights at Costco:

Should be $7 cheaper this time around at $25 after $5 coupon. Online ad doesn't show price, but my mailer showed $29.99 - $5 = $24.99.

This seems really slick to me and is about the same price as the 2 bulb T8 fixture I put up in my garage a year ago. Looking at picking up 4 to help brighten up my cave of a garage.

Bought 4 of these about 6 months ago for $30 each for my garage. Lights are very bright and work in all temperatures - unlike florescent tubes. Highly recommend at $25 per fixture.

No coupon needed. Just walk into Costco store and get it for that price.

This is for just one unit, correct?

I was looking at the price history on Amazon and it looks like these lights have been about $50 for a two pack of these lights for a while. $48 with free shipping right now.

Is it a good idea to have this installed in the living room . I was looking to have daylight (cool light) in my living room. Any other alternative?

'Our' store has them displayed next to a two-pack of LED tubes that replace 48" fluorescent lamps in old standard fixtures. Limited applications, I reckon, but sure seem like a good idea. Won't work for us in the garage or laundry room, however...we have some strange size(38?).

I'm tempted to get the OP unit to brighten the workshop side of the garage...eliminating ONE excuse I have for not de-cluttering that areaEEK! I did replace the two door opener lamps with much brighter CFLs and removed the frosted shrouds to increase the available light and we have the above mentioned old-style fluorescent fixture in the middle.

You're right. Somehow I Jedi mind tricked myself into thinking the Amazon one was a two pack but I guess it's just one. This is a good deal if that's the case.

Edit: I just went and picked up 6 units to outfit my garage and basement.
