Note that VPN service does not include Socks5 proxies anymore, that is a separately bundle. Since that bundle is already discounted, the coupon won't stack on top of it.

However, I did purchase VPN only, and ended up having proxies included as well in "My Services" tab. I tested them and they seem to work fine. However, YMMV.

Global Netflix access doesn't work with TorGuard (May not be true. See below.)
FYI, TorGuard still has yet to create a workaround (aka cycling non-blocked IP addresses) to eliminate Netflix VPN blocking. Several other VPN providers have already implmented this but TorGuard only has a working Netflix server for U.S. access. So you're SOL if you had been using https://flixsearch.io [flixsearch.io] to unlock global Netflix content.

This is especially disturbing because a month ago, when Netflix started blocking VPN's, TorGuard said "TorGuard is monitoring the situation closely and we have recently implemented new measures that can bypass any proposed IP blockade on our network." yet they still don't have a fix! [article [torrentfreak.com]]

Basically, don't purchase if you're looking for global Netflix access!

I inquired about the Netflix and was informed they do indeed have Netflix working, so the above may not be true. I was told to utilize these instructions to access Netflix via an L2TP connection: https://torguard.net/knowledgebas...icle&id=62. I was told to make sure to use watch.torguard.org for the hostname in the server address or it would not work. I will test later. They also offered to have Netflix access added to my dedicate IP, but that would require moving my dedicated IP to Virginia. -Fiestaman

Had PIA for a year have about 4 months left. Just got TorGuard.

PIA is slow and I don't trust them anymore.

Great price for TorGuard. I already have PIA and happy with the speed and features offered. If I didn't have PIA already, I would consider this deal.

question for anyone who could answer and i already read through the other threads to no prevail .

if my internet is 60/5 and i never have once seen the speed show faster than 60/5 however while using this vpn TG i just picked up i now see speeds of up to 85 but still not past 5 on the upload . so how is this even possible ?

my only thought is that perhaps maybe the speed test is cached from a prior test or is their some technicality here allowing for speeds faster than what i've ever seen or even pay for ?

thanks !

https://torguard.net/faq.php for noobs who want to know what settings to use cause their are a few and they are quite confusing if this app is going to be protecting your anonymity .

Torguard uses lzo compression by default, so technically it's possible to see higher speeds using torguard than your internet speed.

I just set up it up today. I got Fios 50/50, and I usually get these speeds on a speed test. I am using a Banana Pro as a VPN router that connects all my devices on my network transparently to the VPN for all their connections.

I get about 35/35 using this setup, so I am happy. I think my Banana Pro maxes out in terms of single thread performance at 35 Mbit/sec encrypting and compressing, otherwise my speeds may be faster. But I'd rather have it a little slower than to run a separate client on all my devices.
