Just to prove how much people care more about plays when games are close, Ron Rivera bringing on the punt team with 2 minutes left down by 14 was infinitely worse than attempting a pass play down by 4 with 26 seconds left and only 1 timeout.

Not being any kind of a Lady Gaga fan I had very low expectations about what her interpretation of the National Anthem might be like. It might have helped that I heard it on the radio without having to look at her but she managed to do a good job. I still really don't like her voice but there is no doubt she is a good singer. I didn't like the ending at all but when I watched it later on youtube the worst part seemed to get drowned out by the dude with the drum, the flyover, and the crowd. On the radio the other sounds didn't come through and I didn't care for the way she ended it.

But other than that she did a nice job. Not going to break into my favorite national anthem performances but far better than I expected.

I didn't see or hear any of the halftime performances so I can't offer any opinion on those.

I thought she looked really pretty. Especially her eyeshadow.
